Daniel Contelmo ArchitectsThe home office overlooks the driveway and can actually see through across the street to the ocean from its large windows. We incorporated a bay window alcove to fit and tuck away the couch at the request of the client for more floor space in the office.

San Juan and Signature Door for this beautiful beachfront home just off Scenic Highway 30-A in Northwest Florida. Our team also created and supplied baseboards and white oak beam materials for the interior.
This home was sold in late 2020 by Rosemary Beach Realty as the highest sale ever on 30-A, at $15.95 million. Jonathan Clark and Ashlee Mitchell of the Clark & Mitchell Group, together with Broker Amanda Hampel, brokered the sale of this off-market property in less than 60 days.

Key to the successful design were the homeowner priorities of family health, energy performance, and optimizing the walk-to-town construction site. To maintain health and air quality, the home features a fresh air ventilation system with energy recovery, a whole house HEPA filtration system, radiant & radiator heating distribution, and low/no VOC materials. The home’s energy performance focuses on passive heating/cooling techniques, natural daylighting, an improved building envelope, and efficient mechanical systems, collectively achieving overall energy performance of 50% better than code. To address the site opportunities, the home utilizes a footprint that maximizes southern exposure in the rear while still capturing the park view in the front.

Everything HomeA neutral color palette punctuated by warm wood tones and large windows create a comfortable, natural environment that combines casual southern living with European coastal elegance. The 10-foot tall pocket doors leading to a covered porch were designed in collaboration with the architect for seamless indoor-outdoor living. Decorative house accents including stunning wallpapers, vintage tumbled bricks, and colorful walls create visual interest throughout the space. Beautiful fireplaces, luxury furnishings, statement lighting, comfortable furniture, and a fabulous basement entertainment area make this home a welcome place for relaxed, fun gatherings.

Design Me By MahlahMy client requested a serene, cozy, and beachy hone office where she could feel comfortable and inspired when working from home. Cool and coastal colors of sea glass, blue, aqua, sand, and ivory unfold a serene yet interesting space. With painted wood and rattan furniture, the feeling is that you are in a tropical retreat. We created spaces for working at a desk with practicalities like a filing cabinet, yet also a place to lounge while reading, conversing, and even working on the lap top. This small guest room became an inspiring place for my client to be productive and do her thing in style!
