Landmark Building Contractors LLCThis 6,600-square-foot home in Edina’s Highland neighborhood was built for a family with young children — and an eye to the future. There’s a 16-foot-tall basketball sport court (painted in Edina High School’s colors, of course). “Many high-end homes now have customized sport courts — everything from golf simulators to batting cages,” said Dan Schaefer, owner of Landmark Build Co.
Fred Parker Company, Inc.The elegant living area is fit for large entertaining or a sitting comfortably around the fireplace. It has a beautiful view of the outdoor swimming pool and is open to the Entry, Kitchen, and Dining Room. Distressed exposed beams and hand scraped hickory wood floors run through these areas tying everything together beautifully. Inlaid tile arches with wood and marble flooring define the space in a very special way.
The clients worked with the collaborative efforts of builders Ron and Fred Parker, architect Don Wheaton, and interior designer Robin Froesche to create this incredible home.
