Andover Landscape Design & ConstructionA once uninspired, blank lawn has now transformed into a backyard oasis. This retreat now provides an extension of living space for the family and their friends to enjoy for years to come. The inviting gunite pool is the focal point of this space, centrally located with plenty of sun exposure to enjoy during the summer months. For those times when relaxation is desired, a sculptural water feature provides the sound of running water without being visually overbearing.
Opposite the sun deck, is an inviting, cozy space complete with a sofa and fire pit that can be used year round. The outdoor living room space under a new deck is fully-covered and well-lit so even an occasional rain shower or too much sun won’t interfere with entertaining guests. All of these separate spaces work in harmony to provide a cohesive feel. The new pool and surrounding landscape overlooks the second fairway at Andover Country Club.
Simple StepsThis modern pool uses a custom recycled glass mosaic mix. The colors used are from the Vitreo and Brillante collections that come in 3/4"x 3/4" and some are available in 3/8"x3/8", rectangle and hexangon. There are many mosaic mixes that are available or you can make a custom mix to fit your style.
Bonick LandscapingThe challenge with this residence was to seamlessly bridge the home and pool house in a confined space. A casual, outdoor environment utilizes straight forward materials of gravel, concrete and limestone, and a central Corten fire pit provides evening enjoyment. Upholstery materials are carefully considered to create rhythm through the space.
C&L Landscape LightingBackyard/ Landscape Lighting Installation: Installed Staircase lighting in backyard to lead up to patio/lounge area overlooking pool. Lighting installed in pool also.
Native Edge LandscapeThe primary goals for this project included completing the landscape left unfinished around the existing pool, replacing as much lawn as possible with native plants to attract pollinators and birds, and reimagining the front yard hillside.
