Mike Farley Pool Designer, SWD, ASLAThis project designed by Mike Farley, has a tailored and natural look with lots of boulders and Travertine decks and coping. There was an existing pool that was very formal that we removed before going organic with a cabana, fireplace and an outdoor kitchen. The house needed an addition with an entertainment media room, cigar room and pool bath. Privacy was achieved by adding a cabana on the north side with a full stone wall. The spa needed to be close to the master bedroom and have visibility of the flat screen television in the cabana. The spa is flush with the upper patio so not to block view of the pool. A natural boulder stream connects the pool and spa. To soften the house planting is between the cabana and house. Access to the cabana was located between the spa and the pool on the floating pad. Remote controlled fire features accent both ends of the boulders. Retaining walls were built behind the waterfall to bring the grade up so plantings looked more natural and waterfalls appeared to come out of the hillside. The cabana features were to create three zones. It doesn't matter the season or time of day this space provides the family's perfect outside setting to enjoy each other.
ALL Renovation & Design LLCFor this project, we were asked to create an outdoor living area around a newly-constructed pool.
We worked with the customer on the design, layout, and material selections. We constructed two decks: one with a vinyl pergola, and the other with a roof and screened-in porch. We installed Cambridge pavers around pool and walkways. We built custom seating walls and fire pit. Our team helped with selecting and installing planting beds and plants.
Closer to the pool we constructed a custom 16’x28’ pool house with a storage area, powder room, and finished entertaining area and loft area. The interior of finished area was lined with tongue-and-groove pine boards and custom trim. To complete the project, we installed aluminum fencing and designed and installed an outdoor kitchen. In the end, we helped this Berks County homeowner completely transform their backyard into a stunning outdoor living space.

All Aqua PoolsAll Aqua Pools doesn’t take on a lot of renovation projects, but we welcomed the opportunity to completely renovate the pool attached to this beachfront home designed by renowned Orlando architect Niles Schweizer. This pool is quite large and features gentle curves around the spa area and bench seating. The majority of the pool is 3 1/2 feet deep, but there is an 8 foot deep island blue hole for deep swimming.
We completely stripped and rebuilt this pool to include an infinity edge which blends seamlessly with the Atlantic Ocean. The interior was refinished with Wet Edge Ski Blue Primera stone, and new Equinox Ice Glass tile accents were installed in many locations. including a 30″ raised glass tile spa. We also upgraded the equipment to modern pool equipment including a variable speed pool pump, salt chlorine system, full automation, and our PCC-2000 self-cleaning pool floor system.
