Virtuoso BuildersEvery remodel comes with its new challenges and solutions. Our client built this home over 40 years ago and every inch of the home has some sentimental value. They had outgrown the original kitchen. It was too small, lacked counter space and storage, and desperately needed an updated look. The homeowners wanted to open up and enlarge the kitchen and let the light in to create a brighter and bigger space. Consider it done! We put in an expansive 14 ft. multifunctional island with a dining nook. We added on a large, walk-in pantry space that flows seamlessly from the kitchen. All appliances are new, built-in, and some cladded to match the custom glazed cabinetry. We even installed an automated attic door in the new Utility Room that operates with a remote. New windows were installed in the addition to let the natural light in and provide views to their gorgeous property.

The cabinetry in a calm citrus green, the granite in a beautiful cobalt blue. Glass back splash merging it all together :)

No more, not enjoying doing laundry! This room was as well planned as the kitchen.

ERIN KYLE designThe flow and function of this kitchen was completely reimagined down to trading a doorway with a pass-thru for better circulation between the living room. The boxed window sill was dropped to counter level to add to the spaciousness of the new counters and provides display space for vintage silver. Custom / customized storage throughout. The clean palette and sleek horizontal pulls add another thoughtful touch.

Tracy Berman InteriorsThe laundry room was refreshed with a unique hexagon penny tile backsplash and an oil-rubbed bronze fixture. To keep the Spanish feel we included a fun floor tile design that plays up with the blue from the washing machine set.
Willet Construction Inc.The laundry room became more of a hall between the kitchen and garage, adding a sink. The doorway to the kitchen was relocated to better fit an island into the kitchen.
Eco German KitchensFrom initial architect's concept, through the inevitable changes during construction and support during installation, Jeff and Sabine were both professional and very supportive. We have ended up with the dream kitchen we had hoped for and are thoroughly delighted! The choice and quality of their products was as good as any we had evaluated, while the personal touch and continuity we experienced affirmed we had made the right choice of supplier. LNDesignsThis reconfiguration project was a classic case of rooms not fit for purpose, with the back door leading directly into a home-office (not very productive when the family are in and out), so we reconfigured the spaces and the office became a utility room.
The area was kept tidy and clean with inbuilt cupboards, stacking the washer and tumble drier to save space. The Belfast sink was saved from the old utility room and complemented with beautiful Victorian-style mosaic flooring.
Now the family can kick off their boots and hang up their coats at the back door without muddying the house up!
