Hursthouse Landscape Architects and ContractorsAn in-ground spa features therapy jets and an automatic cover, which may be retracted incrementally to allow the water weir to function decoratively. Stone piers support painted wooden pergola supports, unifying stone and carpentry.
Hummels LandscapeThis paver project was part of a renovation of an existing in-ground swimming pool in disrepair. Working closely with our friends at Aquavisions, the pool and it's surroundings were renovated to include an automated cover and deck water jets. The pool now acts as the centerpiece of this stunning terraced backyard fit for entertaining and relaxation alike.
Working with the existing brick-faced retaining walls sitting high above the pool deck, the Hummel's team got to work building new mosaic style walls using Techo-Bloc's Baltimore wall in two sizes.
The pool patio features the clean lines of the Umbriano paver from Unilock with a Copthorne border. Lush plantings soften the hard lines of the pool and masonry work. To set the ambience, a landscape lighting system was installed, uplighting features across the terraces, as well as the hardscaping itself.

Betz Pools LimitedOther highlights of this custom vinyl pool include full-width walk-in steps, a 5 x 9 spa plus underwater bench which runs the length of the pool. The backyard borders a natural green space, so a series of attractive decorative grasses and shrubs help to hide the chain link safety fence.
Unique Landscapes and Custom PoolsWhile the focus is mostly directed to the pool, spa, and covered living space, this design also includes an outstanding assortment of native plants to complement the hardscape features. The native plant palette and 1,600 square feet of artificial turf make this luxurious outdoor space very water conscious and ecofriendly.

If you are young and want to have fun you can enjoy the water slide or a trip under a bridge on a lazy river or get some energy out with water sports like basket ball and volley ball. If you are into relaxing then this is also your stop. From a swim up bar, tanning shelf or a trip to the spa how could you not relax. With the night life in mind this pool is surrounded by ample seating, a fire pit wall, bbq set up and a wet bar/dinning area pavilion.

This outdoor living space in Barrington Hills, IL has it all. The swimming pool measures 1,520 square feet, and is 3'6" to 10'0" deep. The hot tub measures 7'0" x 13'0" and is equipped with 16 hydrotherapy heads. Both pool and spa have colored LED lights. The spa has an automatic cover with stone lid system. Adjacent to the hot tub is a sunken bar with kitchen and grill, covered with a thatch palapa. The sunken bar doubles as a serving area for the 5 underwater bar stools within the pool. There is a sunshelf in the shallow area of the pool measuring 125 square feet that has 5 LED lit bubbler water features. There are two sets of shallow end steps attached to the sunshelf. The custom slide is constructed on a stacked stone structure which provides a large stone step system for entry. The pool and hot tub coping is Valders Wisconsin Limestone in Buff color, Sandblast finish with a modified squared edge. The pool has an in-floor automatic cleaning system. The interior surface is French Gray exposed aggregate finish. The pool is also equipped with Volleyball and Basketball systems.
