Home FrostingFor this beautiful Tampa home, our studio employed a rustic approach that blended well with the contemporary nature of the home. We used a beautiful wooden tone for the kitchen cabinets and island, giving it a lived-in feel. Terracotta-colored backsplash and wooden beams on the ceiling complete the rustic appeal. We also added attractive, thoughtful decor all over the space, seamlessly tying it to the desired theme.

Stebnitz Builders, Inc.When our clients purchased their home on Lake Beulah near East Troy, they knew they wanted to make changes. The home had a mixed architectural style – rustic on the outside but traditional inside. Major renovations to the home focused on three main areas – the living room, the dining room and the master bedroom. Walls were removed to open up and better unify the living room and kitchen spaces. One window in the living room became nearly a wall of windows to allow for better views of the lake, and two skylights added more natural light.
In addition, all the cherry stained millwork, baseboards and window trim on the first floor were painted. Carpenters installed wood ceilings and stained the new posts and beam structures. Doors, window sills and seats also received fresh stain. To add to the rustic interior, we focused on details such as the laundry room door just off the kitchen. There a rustic, wooden sliding barn door became and interesting focal point.

Benvinguts al Slow Design!El espacio del recibidor en un futuro puede convertirse en habitación, así pues, todas las decisiones y ubicación de los diferentes elementos (interruptores y enchufes, aplacado de ladrillo, armario...) se hacen pensando en el posible cambio de uso que tendrá el aposento.
Aplacamos la pared de ladrillo y la iluminamos con dos apliques de pared. Complementamos el espacio de entrada con un banco, una estantería – percha y un gran espejo de madera.
En la pared opuesta colocamos un armario de punta a punta, blanco que casi desaparece a la vista. Como el armario es de módulos prefabricados nos sobra un pequeño espacio donde se nos acude poner una estantería que le da un toque de vida con la decoración.
