Complete privacy while still having an awesome view of the lake. Pool & Spa and entertainting area is a 6' drop from driveway and then a 25' drop to the lake. This expansive freeform swimming pool in Northbrook, IL has a raised 8'0" hot tub with a spillover water feature. The pool measures approximately 850 square feet. CAVINESS LANDSCAPE DESIGN, INC.A home on top of a hill with amazing lake views provide the perfect setting for a beautiful "mountain mine" inspired pool with multiple ways to interact with - this active family will never be bored! There is an antique ore cart and rail system that seems to appear from an old mine and gives the homeowner a unique iced-beverage cart. There are boulder steps that lead up to another "mine" entrance that is actually the entrance to the underground slide. This view shows the swim-through grotto and natural boulder waterfall with a 14' diving ledge. Hand cut native stone with boulders integrated into the stone retaining wall provides additional patio space with a fire pit above the pool.

Keith Zars PoolsThis is great use of the overflow area of the infinity pool. Infinity basin has a swim up bar with a marble shelf and Pebble Tec's "Bead Crete" glass bead plaster.
One Specialty Landscape Design, Pools & HardscapeThis Dallas area family desired to have a small scale grotto similar to the caves found in Italy and France in addition to a luxury pool and fire pit patio area to all harmonize with their newly built home. A challenge One Specialty gladly took on!
In addition to the grotto and slide made of 1x1 blue porcelain tiles, we added a stone beach entry to the custom swimming pool design which complements the custom stepping stones in the poolside area. Note the artificial turf used between these poolside stepping stones to lower water usage and for easy maintenance. Drip irrigation and low-water plants were utilized as well for water conservation in the swimming pool landscaping.

Mike Farley Pool Designer, SWD, ASLABridgeport Freeform Infinity Pool & Cabana designed by Mike Farley. This is a clean, neat, tailored diving pool with a large shallow end for activities and swimming laps. There are multiple level flagstone decks, dry stacked retaining walls, and steps to deal with the hillside. Entertainment areas were placed on the sides and the back so not to block any views of the pool or grandchildren swimming. Fire bowls anchored the Vanishing Edge spillway and framed the view of the lake. The cabana provides shelter for the large kitchen and bar area. The back wall of the pool provides additional seating due to the grade and a place to gather around the fire pit. The spa provided good access to the master bedroom and floating pads provided transition between the two terraces.
