The Cabinetry and Tile StudioThis was a complete remodel of the HIS bath in this home. He wanted a rustic, country look.
This was achieved by using a rustic wood looking porcelain tile not only on the floor but on the shower walls continuing that same tile as a wainscot around all the room walls. The cabinets are a shaker style in quarter sawn oak with double furniture pegs. Cabinets are by Starmark Cabinetry, Farmington door stained in a Honey finish. Countertops are granite Kashmir White. Floors are Earthwerks, porcelain tile Boardwalk Venice Beach. Shower walls and wainscot are Marazzi, Preservation Distressed Oak. The shower floor is Daltile Keystones 2”x2” mosaic in Buffstone Range. Faucets and shower fixtures are by Delta. The frameless shower door has stainless steel handle and hinges. Cabinet door and drawer hardware is Jeffery Alexander knobs and pulls from the Breman 1 Collection in brushed pewter.
This remodel included removing an existing tub and shower and building a new shower. The popcorn ceiling, ceiling soffit and wallpaper were removed and then re-textured and painted. A divider wall between the toilet and vanity was cut down and capped with granite and the existing closet doors were refreshed. A new electric outlet was added and existing outlets moved along with adding 3 LED ceiling lights. Plumbing was relocated and old valves replaced.

EF Architectural DesignIn this unique interior design endeavor, we breathed new life into an old woodland cabin, transforming it into a luxurious Airbnb retreat that embraces the rustic charm of the surroundings. We opted for a warm and inviting color palette. Neutral tones, black metals, and rich brown leather accents were carefully chosen to seamlessly blend with the cabin's natural surroundings. This color scheme evokes a sense of cozy elegance that harmonizes with the cabin's rustic vibe. The project involved the renovation of the kitchen and bathrooms. We modernized these spaces while ensuring they maintained the cabin's character. We meticulously curated a shopping list that aligned with the client's budget, ensuring that every element chosen for the project was of high quality and met their specific requirements. This entire project was executed remotely, showcasing the power of long-distance creativity. The result is an enchanting Airbnb cabin that offers guests a one-of-a-kind luxury experience amidst the tranquil beauty of the woods.

For this mountainside retreat, we entered at a unique point in the process—to collaborate on the interior architecture—lending our expertise in fine finishes and fixtures to complete the spaces, thereby creating the perfect backdrop for the family of furniture makers to fill in each vignette. Catering to a design-industry client meant we sourced with singularity and sophistication in mind, from matchless slabs of marble for the kitchen and master bath to timeless basin sinks that feel right at home on the frontier and custom lighting with both industrial and artistic influences. We let each detail speak for itself in situ.
