GramophoneOur client wanted the Gramophone team to recreate an existing finished section of their basement, as well as some unfinished areas, into a multifunctional open floor plan design. Challenges included several lally columns as well as varying ceiling heights, but with teamwork and communication, we made this project a streamlined, clean, contemporary success. The art in the space was selected by none other than the client and his family members to give the space a personal touch!

Ream KitchensResearching for room ideas for a home cinema room, Mr Brown was looking for something out of the box. Having had his kitchen designed and installed by Ream two years previously, Mr Brown felt reassured that he would get the best out of the loft space he had by visiting and being inspired at Ream’s Gillingham showroom in Kent. Lara, Ream Room Designer was on hand to listen to Mr Browns room requirements and add her professional expertise. Lara worked on the home media room design using Mr Browns brief which included a bar area with fridge worktops and cabinets for storage. The home cinema area design had an array of storage soft close cabinets and drawers.
The installation included building work creating stud walls, installed the cabinets, worktop and lighting to set the rooms ambience. “The final results are impressive” says Mr Brown.

DTV INSTALLATIONS LLCThe most impressive aspect of this installation was the spectacular basement home theater with six luxurious leather seats that we created for the client. It’s a full 4K Dolby Atmos THX theater providing an experience almost identical to the one you get in a movie theater. This installation is based around a Sony VPL-VW665EX projector that shows stunning images in native 4K resolution, and a 160-inch (you read that correctly) Vutec recessed, motorized projection screen. But that’s not all – behind the screen we installed a pair of Sony 65-inch Bravia XBR-65X930D Smart TVs, so the home’s residents can choose to watch side-by-side sports events or anything else they choose.

KraftMaster RenovationsA Star Wars themed movie theater for a super fan! This theater has everything you need to sit back & relax; reclining seats, a concession stand with beverage fridge, a powder room and bar seating!
GramophoneThese dedicated Maryland State fans themed not just their theater, but their whole basement in their team colors. They wanted to be able to invite all of their friends and family over to watch the Terps compete; so we oriented their room to accommodate 13 theater seats and up to 5 bar stools.
