Colm Joseph GardensOversize sawn limestone paving units create two distinct seating areas, nestled amongst the naturalistic planting. Limestone gravel offers offers textural interest and lower maintenance gardening. A simple bowl introduces the reflective, calming quality of water.
A unified boundary treatment of hornbeam hedge and pleached hornbeam trees give the garden improved privacy and visual harmony. Four multi-stem hornbeam trees offer sculptural form, helping to shape the space within the garden.
The London Gardener LtdOur client wanted a smart front garden and driveway leading to their lovely new home. The garden needed to be planted with all white flowers, with long seasons of interest and texture. Our planting also had to balance the proportions of the house, and enhance the overall appearance.

VICTORIA TRUMAN LANDSCAPE AND GARDEN DESIGNThe design of this garden provides a seamless transition from house to garden,the placement of the pleached trees provide an inner courtyard within a larger space. This garden has been designed to make the client feel peaceful, private and spacious. The client wanted to create a stylish and classically contemporary garden, he particularly wanted structured formal planting without too many ‘flowers’ which I considered in the design phase.
Joanne Alderson DesignThis steep bank has been planted with swathes of grasses & euphorbia for drama with mature elm trees. These are certified disease resistant.
Harry Holding StudioThe front garden for an innovative property in Fulham Cemetery - the house featured on Channel 4's Grand Designs in January 2021. The design had to enhance the relationship with the bold, contemporary architecture and open up a dialogue with the wild green space beyond its boundaries. Seen here in the height of summer, this space is an immersive walk through a naturalistic and pollinator rich planting scheme.

This contemporary London garden scheme was designed by Simon Thomas and built by Landscaping Solutions. The design comprises horizontal timber batten screening mounted with up and down lights. There is a central fireplace which also has storage space to the rear. The paving and steps are sawn sandstone incorporating LED strip lights beneath the step treads. The raised planters are painted white and planted out with Box hedging. The rest of the planting comprises Irises, Stipa grasses and Fennel.

Lucy Cotes' Beautiful GardensThe key feature here is the trunk of the old cedar that came down in the 1987 hurricane. Silvered and old it is the perfect spot for candles, wine glasses or bird seed.
