This raised hot tub which is located in Northbrook, IL measures 8'0" x 8'0" and is reased above the deck level. The water depth is 3'0". The bluestone coping has 4 deck spray water features installed into it which provides a visual water display. The hot tub also features a colored LED light and an automatic pool safety cover. CAVINESS LANDSCAPE DESIGN, INC.A drone shot of this entire project is the only way to capture the upper spa, middle pool with sunken fire pit and swim up bar, the rope swing constructed from large cedar trees on the property and the lower pool that includes a large natural boulder waterfall and swim through grotto. Hand cut stone retaining walls integrated with natural boulders retain the natural layout of the property.

PSW LivingThe large paver patio creates an outdoor living area with several areas in which to relax or entertain friends and family. The first area includes patio furniture and a fire pit located close to the sunroom. From there, a walkway leads to the largest pool we’ve designed and built to date! The paver field is Techo-Bloc Blu 60 in Champlain Gray and the paver border is Unilock Copthorne in Basalt in a double sailor row. While the pavers are from two different vendors, they look beautiful together and bring out the look that the family was looking for.
Copings for this project include Blockhouse in Limestone for the knee walls/pillars and Blockhouse Single Bullnose in Limestone for the pool and spa. All steps throughout the entire project are Blockhouse Schenley in Limestone.
The 50’ x 34’ free-form Latham vinyl liner pool includes a custom entry and grotto love seat. An Interfab slide from the Garden-Ride series is set within a natural stone boulder grotto. All custom features, such as bubblers and sheer descent waterfall, are programmed to be controlled from a smartphone. The Grecian Pandora spa, with 12 jets, was custom manufactured specifically for this project. Six colored GloBright LED lights from Pentair light up the pool and set the mood perfectly. With such a large pool, GloBright was used because it is proven to be the brightest and most efficient LED available.

Splash Pools & ConstructionThis custom backyard has all the amenities for outdoor entertaining. You have the freeform pool, spa, two patio covers, seating areas, fire pit, built in BBQ and landscaping. The swimming pool has a ledger stone back wall with coping and landscape surrounding. The diving board at the deep end of the pool and the shallow end has a large lounging step for tanning and for kids to play in the water. The spa has a simple spillway into the pool. Color changing LED lights add an ambiance at night.

This project features a 20’0” x 47’0” freeform swimming pool, 3’6” to 6’0” deep, and a 7’6” x 9’0” oval hot tub. The pool also features a 176 square foot freeform sunshelf. Pool and Hot Tub tile are all Oyster Blue Deco accent tiles. The glass tile on the sunshelf, pool steps, hot tub spillover and wall going into the pool is Lake Blue Blend glass tile. Both the pool and the hot tub feature Valders Wisconsin Limestone coping. The pool also features an in-floor automatic pool cleaning system. The pool and hot tub interior finish is Wet Edge Prism Matrix Deep Sea Blue color. The pool decking is mortar-set full range Bluestone. The pool features 6 deck jets water features. Both the pool and the hot tub feature LED color-changing lights. There is also a raised water fall feature with 3 scuppers. The Retaining wall features Rosetta Belvedere with capstone. CAVINESS LANDSCAPE DESIGN, INC.This Caviness project for a modern farmhouse design in a community-based neighborhood called The Prairie At Post in Oklahoma. This complete outdoor design includes a large swimming pool with waterfalls, an underground slide, stream bed, glass tiled spa and sun shelf, native Oklahoma flagstone for patios, pathways and hand-cut stone retaining walls, lush mature landscaping and landscape lighting, a prairie grass embedded pathway design, embedded trampoline, all which overlook the farm pond and Oklahoma sky. This project was designed and installed by Caviness Landscape Design, Inc., a small locally-owned family boutique landscape design firm located in Arcadia, Oklahoma. We handle most all aspects of the design and construction in-house to control the quality and integrity of each project.
