Jane EllisonThis family vacation home sadly burned to the ground in the recent Northern California 2017 fires. Years of remodeling and decorating had just been completed, photographed a few months ago. All four generations so enjoyed get aways to this Napa retreat which centered on nature, relaxing and family. Lots of fun curvy shaped upholstery, color and art flowed with the wonderful chaos of lots of families being together.
When I spoke to them on the phone, they were still in shock but said they planned to rebuilt and wanted me to be part of it.

The small wine cellar was replaced with a flush mount wine refrigerator with custom trim and painted in a contrasting color. We installed wood flooring, a stunning glass bead chandelier as well as custom roman shades that blend with the fresh new paint on the walls and entertainment center.

An integrated living/dining and kitchen experience now exists, where the fireplace can be enjoyed from all areas. Expansion of kitchen windows proved to be the most effective in allowing natural light to wash across the now open kitchen and living areas.

Deborah Martin DesignsThe dining room was completed in the second phase and centered on the redesign of the fireplace. A tall hearth was removed for better circulation, and black granite on the fireplace façade was matched to replace the wood floor beneath and surrounding the former hearth. An oval dining table and long sideboard feature a dark finish and warm metal accents.
Serenité InteriorsA flood gave us the opportunity to remodel their home and add a butler's pantry and laundry room addition. We updated their Italian style with wood floors, new stone on the fireplace and custom wrought iron details. The ridge beam was already there, and we had it sandblasted, then added the ribs and then custom stained.
Ariel Muller DesignsWe custom designed a handcrafted bubinga dining table with comfortable espresso leather and chenille chairs to meld with chocolate brown reclaimed elm floors. The handsome presentation of rustic grandeur is reminiscent of a stately lodge
