This cottage has been completely renovated from the floor up, and the 2nd story was added. It is on the historical register. Flooring for the first level common area is Antique River-Recovered® Heart Pine Vertical, Select, and Character. Goodwin's Antique River-Recovered® Heart Pine was used for the stair treads and trim.
株式会社 結設計ダイニング、リビング、和室をどう一体化させるかで悩みました。和室の床の間と食堂のローカウンターを一体化してみました。
和室の上がり框の下は収納になっています。
天井は吹き抜けで2階にあるスタディスペースとも繋がっていて、大きな一体的空間となっています。
株式会社kotori勾配天井の杉板の表情が美しいリビングダイニング。コンパクトな床面積でありながらも、視線の抜けをりようすることで広々と開放的に空間に仕上がりました。大きな掃き出し窓の外にはウッドデッキを敷いたバルコニーを設置し、周囲の環境に対してほど良い距離感をとっています。家族が楽しく食事がとれるように丸型のダイニングテーブルを設置。テーブル上に取り付けたノルディックソーラーのペンダントライトは複数のシェードから漏れる光が優しく、光源が直接目に入らないため、気持ちよく食事をとることができます。
ハウスクラフト株式会社キッチン天井はレッドシダーの板張りをアクセントに。腰壁はリビングの壁と同じMPC仕上げ、収納ドアもグレーにして統一感のある空間に仕上げました。MPCの無機質さと木材の温かみが合わさり、まるでカフェのような雰囲気です。

Polite Design Office/ポライトデザインオフィス北から南に細く長い、決して恵まれた環境とは言えない敷地。
その敷地の形状をなぞるように伸び、分断し、それぞれを低い屋根で繋げながら建つ。
この場所で自然の恩恵を効果的に享受するための私たちなりの解決策。
雨や雪は受け止めることなく、両サイドを走る水路に受け流し委ねる姿勢。
敷地入口から順にパブリック-セミプライベート-プライベートと奥に向かって閉じていく。

株式会社kotoriリビングダイニングから、キッチン、ロフトを越えて続く杉板による勾配天井がダイナミックな空間。ダイニングは家族と楽しく食事がとれるよう、丸テーブルを設置。続くキッチンは、家事動線が良く、家族と一緒に調理も楽しめるよう、並列にフラットキッチンを設置しました。
