Our client came to us with a vision for their family dream house that offered adequate space and a lot of character. They were drawn to the traditional form and contemporary feel of a Modern Farmhouse.
MCHUGH SOLUTION:
In showing multiple options at the schematic stage, the client approved a traditional L shaped porch with simple barn-like columns. The entry foyer is simple in it's two-story volume and it's mono-chromatic (white & black) finishes. The living space which includes a kitchen & dining area - is an open floor plan, allowing natural light to fill the space.VISION AND NEEDS:

Boyce Design + BuildThis stunning master bath remodel is a place of peace and solitude from the soft muted hues of white, gray and blue to the luxurious deep soaking tub and shower area with a combination of multiple shower heads and body jets. The frameless glass shower enclosure furthers the open feel of the room, and showcases the shower’s glittering mosaic marble and polished nickel fixtures.

Bolen DesignsGorgeous contemporary master bathroom renovation! Everything from the custom floating vanity and large-format herringbone vanity wall to the soaring ceilings, walk-in shower and gold accents speaks to luxury and comfort. Simple, stylish and elegant - total win!!
Clearcut Construction, Inc.For this space we used light gray base cabinets (Gray Owl) and white (Steam) uppers/fridge wall cabinetry. The Crate and Barrel Nolan pendants draw your eyes up to the ceiling where we installed hand hewn wood beams with a custom stain applied. For the flooring, we used Mixwax Rustic Beige.
Rebel BuildersIndustrial transitional English style kitchen. The addition and remodeling were designed to keep the outdoors inside. Replaced the uppers and prioritized windows connected to key parts of the backyard and having open shelvings with walnut and brass details.
Custom dark cabinets made locally. Designed to maximize the storage and performance of a growing family and host big gatherings. The large island was a key goal of the homeowners with the abundant seating and the custom booth opposite to the range area. The booth was custom built to match the client's favorite dinner spot. In addition, we created a more New England style mudroom in connection with the patio. And also a full pantry with a coffee station and pocket doors.
