Originally a tiled breakfast nook and entry closet, this 1970's addition to the original house was separated from the kitchen by the original exterior wall (3 layers of brick) and connected by the original back door. We opened the wall and added a beam, took out the wall to the closet to create this view from the kitchen. We also added a barn door to close off the sunken den and bed/bath that were created in the original carriage house and connected in the 1970s. Custom built cubbies added for our busy family. New electrical, flooring and swamp cooler added.
