Family Home In Northamptonshire with a Pop of Colour
We completed this project in Northamptonshire, completely transforming the kitchen into a space that can be fully enjoyed by all the family. Newleaf Kitchens designed the kitchen and Christiana Cabinetry manufactured it, we then imported and installed it. We paid careful attention to the way the family moved around the kitchen to achieve the best use of space. The use of turquoise adds exciting pops of colour, brightening the room. Turquoise is our client’s favourite colour and is used throughout their house. By painting the panel under the breakfast bar and colour matching a glass splashback we created a cohesive colour scheme throughout the home. We finished the cabinets in two different tones of grey with a matt finish. The client chose the worktop from Granite Transformations. This client wanted to keep their current flooring and some of their appliances.
We created tonnes of storage for the client as this is something they raised in a consultation with us. This client had an under stair cupboard which they didn’t make full use of so we converted it into an impressive floor to ceiling pantry, maximising every inch of space. Our talented designer included corner drawers in his design, making the best use of an awkward space. We included an area to store cookbooks neatly whilst allowing easy access. As space was limited, we stacked their new Miele washing machine and tumble dryer to leave plenty of room to move in the kitchen. As this family were particularly tall, we increased the height of the worktops. We narrowed the depth of the cabinetry and rounded the ends of the breakfast bar to create a spacious walkway to the back door.
