Fireplace Redo
The old horizontal mantle was removed allowing this custom built on site mantle to fit the space and lift the eye. The tall columns add vertical height and a gas fireplace insert warms it all up with the click of a button (fireplace yet to be installed in this photo.) The client's carved corbel finally got a place to hang and a modern vivid color painting brings life and brightness to the angled corner area. Modern art painting in a traditional space adds contrast with ease.
