Grand Staircase
From the upper landing of this 1920s Italian-revival house in California, one sees the sweep of the elegant staircase. We designed the iron railing to replace an inappropriate aluminum one installed in the 1940s. In addition, we created the wrought iron lantern to compliment and unite the various elements of the staircase. Eighteenth century carved angels flank the entrance to the main landing overlooking the garden.
