replacing siding on a 1921 home.
This house was built in 1921 and still had the original siding. It was in pretty bad shape. We tackled this project by first stripping off the original siding, and assessing the amount of water damage to be repaired. We found and sealed any airgaps while repairing the framing. We then installed a new house wrap on the entire home. After the housewrap, we replaced the flashing at windows, doors, and where the siding met the roof. this helps prevent future water damage.
