Small North-Facing Kitchen in Devon
The kitchen had to be completely gutted and re-plastered before work could begin. Our main criteria when planning were to maintain a light and airy feel as well as maximising storage and cooking space. We opted for metal shelving rather than wall cupboards which also kept our tight budget as low as possible. Gloss white cupboards were chosen to detract from the older - but classic - appliances which we could not afford to replace. The result is a warm, bright space which is a joy to work in.
