This 5-story townhouse, which was subdivided into 3 apartments, was gutted except for the exterior shell, and converted back into a single-family residence. The basement was excavated completely to add a spa and 40-feet long swimming pool. While maintaining some of the original 1880's details, the house is designed with a modern approach, maximizing the feeling of large spaces, tall ceilings, and a sense of calm.
