Venetian plaster and embossing, hand-painted
The basic structure of this air intake was dry-walled. We then applied a fine venetian plaster finish which gave it weight and character-we then added a subtle glaze wash finish to give it an old world feel. The fruit frieze motif was created with plaster as well using hand cut stencils than were then hand-painted and "antiqued". The final result gave it an authentic feel...
