ways to add more black and wood to a kitchen

Q

Billede

https://www.etsy.com/listing/548059165/mid-century-modern-wall-art-art-print?ref=shop_home_active_27&frs=1 TomasDesign on Etsy

Q

Billede

similar concept to prior... photo, couch, floor all carry the same color. darkness on the wall adds depth... really like what's going on here.

Q

Billede

You could plug this in exactly and I'd be a happy camper :) maybe something soft but stony like this around the fireplace, pulling in same color as couch/rug... really love hte colors here, its modern but warm and romantic... lots of warmth, pulls in the wood, color in the picture matches color pops on couch and in the photo... but, the orange is still a shade of the same on the wall. this is good.

Q

Billede

this could do well in the house, in the right place. consistnecy and minimal variation in color/texture adds aesthetic integrity.

Q

Billede

a good aesthetic guide for what the house needs for consistency in aesthetic install features

Q

Billede

really like this wall! shiny and metalic, but, with a little bit of a green hue

Q

Billede

I like the green here - green wall with the green tie in... need to figure out how to bring green in through the windows.

Q

Billede

Textured wall tiles on the stairwell may be helpful... but, we'd need to create continuity with that somehwere else

Q

Billede

Would love a romantic little nook or enclave somewhere

Q

Billede

darkness around the white marble could help the master bathroom

Q

Billede

Hmm... maybe there's a place for this where it could pick up good color with a particular itme of day?

Q

Billede

textured ceiling bits are kinda fun... there's a run up the wall in the kitchen that might be duplicated in other places to create that aesthetic continuity... maybe by the entrace? Or in some way that transitions to the top floor?

Q

Billede

dark ceilings and natural walls is cool... that could work nicely...

Q

Billede

color saturation on the walls. dramatic, but calming.

Q

Billede

Maybe more black in the kitchen?

Q

Billede

Could be fun for closet

Q

Billede

I don't like the white walls, but, shades of the same color wiht lots of texture is good.

Q

Billede

Dramatic, modern. Like the plants added in.

Q

Billede

like the muted texture around the fireplace, the plant life

Q

Billede

I like the wall color here

Q

Billede

Another good mix of light and dark in a modern kitchen.

Q

Billede

dark wood, black marble accents. this could work with the white oak floor

Q

Billede

drama, darkness, modern. this is great. Just need to add a little plush romance here and we'll be set :)

Q

Billede

Chris really liked this one. The mtalic chairs with the leather, dark colors, cowhide rug, and funky modern light fixture. Perfect with all the nature in the backdrop.

Q

Billede

This is a lovely combination of modern and feminine and nodding to nature. Chris isn't wild about the rug or the chandalier but I'd be ok with some of these bolder types of accents in my office.

Q

Billede

I like a LOT here. Dark ceiling elements, stone floor, darker woods, stainless, but with the nature spilling in, next to a dramatic lighting feature. Waterfall countertop with dramatic lines in the stone.

Q

Billede

here's a good mix of dark cabinetry and white oak. it could work. but it's gotta have some darkness where the light/heavy nature is.

Q

Billede

dramatic lines through the waterfall counter. really makes this a piece of art installation here, a constrast to the clean lines around

Q

Billede

warm cabinets, dark floors, stainless accents

Q

Billede

i like the darker walls, ceiling, stone-ish floor. with the furniture, it still comes together to be warm...

Q

Billede

dramatic waterfall counter (though I'd like something darker), dark wall color, color continuity from island to flooring

Q

Billede
Billede

noting the balance of a lot of nature in the windows coupled with a lot of stone surfacing and darker woods here, and the stainless steel accents. this seems to be in the direction of elementally balanced.

Q

Billede

tall corner cabinet

Q

Billede

It's PINK! :D

Q

Billede

Cool art

Q

Billede

Not for my house, for sure.... is this a fire laundromat???

Q

Billede

Quiet Stone next to firewood

Q

Billede

This one I really like. Still a lot of white... This fireplace checks a lot of boxes. Dark textured stone, fireplace, firewood store, and aesthetic interest with the asymmetric shelf, plus little jewel tones in the goodies on the shelf!

Q

Billede

This is clean, and would be pretty, I just feel like this aesthetic is so overdone in modern houses. Find a way to spice this up with another aesthetic incorporation and I'll like it. Even hanging a collage of round firewood-slices above it would create/invite the full fireplace feeling.

Q

Billede

I like the wood panels on the ceiling - perhaps we could do this in the kitchen, and stretch the width of the wood ceiling feature to be only as wide as the fireplace concept, utilizing the stone backdrop and the round firewood ends as accents around the stupid fake electric flashing spaceheater that wants to be areal fireplace but never will be.

Q

Billede

Stone contrast around the edge, wood frame, and saturated jewel tone on the wall help to make this aesthetic warm.

Q

Billede

what I like here: focusing on fireplace, utilized as part of an art installation/architectural focal. the vertical line here creates warm light, dark colors on the walls, saturated jewel tones surrounding. What I don't like: fireplace here is done well, but, in isolation could look too masculine and overpowering. It needs softening from the rest of the room.

Q

Billede

what I like: bold color usage, modern fireplace used on a wall that creates utilizes the fireplace as part of an art installation. modern lines in the stairwell. What I don't like: too much off-white

Q

Billede

What I like: cozy, warm orange/yellow glow, modern, smart looking fireplace. What I don't like: not enough color/texture, a little too clean in the lines. Needs some whimsey and/or light-hearted touch

Q

Billede

modern, dark colors, pattern, color, texture, saturation, plush textures, modern nods

Q

Billede

What I like: mix of stone and wood elements, pin lighting. What I don't like: feels too spacious, like a high-end hotel spa. Needs to be cozier.

Q

Billede

What I like: dark colors, jewel tones, monochromatic textured fabric, nods to nature.

Q

Billede

Oh GIVE. Warm, cozy lighting tones, nature focal, dark colors, warm wood.

Q

Billede

I love all of this. Dark color, jewel tones, warmth, modern nods, saturated textured fabric in the chairs, a little bit of whimsey in the variety of the color, and the wall art is bright and inventive and unique. This is great.

Q

Billede

dramatic color, texture, pattern

Q

Billede

DARK WALL COLOR!! Plus interest and elegance in the floor.

Q

Billede

Monochromatic texture in a heavy kind of texture in the chairs.

Q

Billede

COLOR. Saturated color
