Design ideas to share with Pam

This maybe isn't the best picture--but as we hope for a porch (which is we know, perhaps beyond the budget we set), we really want a space that blurs the Ines between inside and outside. What's nice here is the sense that it's a three-season space, and I could imagine a pretty seamless transition from an interior living space.

This is kind of dark, but we like the warmth of it and the colorful tile.

We both love the green tile, as well as the unexpected combination of the organic and sleek. And we love nature, in all its forms.

We like the brightness of this, the beamed ceiling, and how clean it is.

We like the feel of this--again, slightly artsy, airy and welcoming--as well as (in particular) the ceiling.

Steve is not a fan of the rugs--but we both like that the space is airy and colorful with an overall kind of groovy feel. It's not any one element here as much as the general vibe. (We like the feel of this designer's work in general, although it could easily tend towards the disastrously cluttered in our house.)
