As a design graduate from The Ohio State University and a lover of all aspects of interior design, Julie is passionate about how we live in our environment and the outward expression of who we are and where we are going. From the way we respond to color and light, to how we move through a space, design is the study of how our environment creates and influences the very essence of who we are. Working on residential and commercial sites throughout Northeast and Central Ohio for over 30 years, Julie is the owner of Lewis & Associates Designs, llc and is proud to offer her experience, knowledge, talent, and insight to her clients with her design/build company. Julie and her team were fantastic. I really enjoyed working with her from start to finish. She always kept me in the loop as to what was going on with my project. She made the experience enjoyable, and she is extremely knowledgeable about the renovation processes. I highly recommend Lewis and Associates!

Our master bathroom was our first renovation in our 25 year old house. Julie has a vision that complements the homeowner's requests combining a glamorous look but keeping with its functionality. The before and after pictures can only give you a glimpse of this artist. Trusting her insights have allowed us the peace and tranquility when it comes to remodeling. My husband and I found Julie here on Houzz to remodel our kitchen / reimagine our first floor living space. We had never hired a designer nor taken on a project this big. We were excited and definitely a little anxious. Julie was the first to call us back and was 100% the best decision ever. Our kitchen is STUNNING! She was honest, fun, easy to work with and kept us on budget. Yay! She even gave me lots of bonus advice that helped me decorate other areas of my house that were outside her scope of services. We loved working with Julie and can't wait to bring her back for project #2!!!!

Julie has been our trusted design professional for over 20 years. She transformed every room in our last home from stuck-in-the-60s to beautifully contemporary. Our dreary, unfinished basement became a functional living space that greatly increased our home's value when we sold. Our new home was just another fun challenge for Julie. She took it from stuck-in-the-80s to timeless elegance, gutting just about everything along the way. My husband never likes change, but after Julie worked her magic, his sanctuary in our walk-out basement is his pride and joy. Every single man that has entered it has raved that he wants a man-cave just like it. Julie is one of the most personable professionals that we have ever worked with. She really cares about her clients, is a great communicator, and just plain fun to work with. We will always trust her!!

And that is due in a large part to your impeccable good taste and a willingness to go the distance. But I must say, I think we’ve worked together for more like 25+ years. I think it’s because we started when we were twelve! Haha

When my husband and I bought our home in the country it was outdated and had several rooms that we wanted to remodel. When we finally decided to tackle the kitchen and dining area we had no idea how to purchase and design the kitchen cabinets. We called Julie and she walked us through the whole process of type of cabinets, placement for function and flow of the kitchen and of course how to figure out a budget. We also wanted to open up the space to flow into the rest of the living space and she gave us many great tips on that also. The placement of the cooktop and options for our kitchen with cathedral ceiling with skylights was also very helpful!! She had a good knowledge of the Medallion line and how to order every piece we needed. She edited our design per our requests many times and was able to keep us on the timetable we needed for our contractor. Will post final pictures soon!

My husband and I hired Lewis & Associates Designs to remove a wall in our kitchen and add an island, but we received so much more than that! Julie increased the functionality of our kitchen space by making suggestions I never would of considered. Not only did Julie use her professional expertise to create the kitchen of our dreams, but she answered all of my design questions from paint color to furniture arrangement...and everything in between. We quickly realized that we were playing checkers while Julie was playing chess when it came to interior design. She helped us reconsider our furniture in our living room, and I couldn't be happier! Julie Lewis has been our designer for almost 15 years. She designed and decorated our condo. It not only went from plain and drab to an architecturally beautiful home, but we thoroughly enjoyed the process! Most recently she designed and is decorating a new home for us. Her ideas seem limitless and her ability to listen to our needs and paint this beautiful canvas of color, taste and style have even caught the attention of builders and homeowners alike. In summary without exaggeration I would more than likely deprive myself of a kitchen sink than build a home without Julie...but then, I am quite sure that she would find a way around this problem as well!

I have known Julie for over 20 years. I first hired her as a designer and clicked with her from the start. Last year, I hired Julie to build and design an 1100 sqft mother-in-law suite and garage that attaches to my granddaughters house. There were many complications with zoning and the layout of the land, but Julie handled all obstacles with ease. I trusted Julie so much that I left for Florida and left all the building and interior design work to her. When I came back from Florida in the spring time, everything was done and move-in ready! Working with Julie has been an absolute pleasure! We just completed a bathroom remodel and Julie was amazing at helping and guiding us through the whole process. She was able to take into account our different style preferences and budget and work to transform our boring bathroom into an amazing oasis. She understands all aspects of the project, from design…all the way through construction. She also has this amazing knack of finding things that fit our style and completely removed the stress of being confronted with tons of decisions and choices! Julie was so easy for my wife and I to work with during our recent master bathroom remodel. She immediately sensed our design style and guided us to make the decisions that were right for us. Though she is an interior designer in heart and spirit, I could also tell she has a deep knowledge of all aspects of housing construction and framing. At one point, Julie saved us from ordering cabinet sections that would have been too close to a door frame to open the drawers completely (an important detail my contractor and I overlooked) and she helped with a quick reconfiguration. I highly recommend Julie. You won't be disappointed.

I engaged Julie to plan an overhaul of my kitchen. We sat together and reviewed my lists of wants/needs/budgets. Julie developed three renderings of potential designs in 3D colored imaging to illustrate exactly what each option would look like in the end. We then made final adjustments to the selected plan. Once our design was determined, Julie provided detailed, scaled drawings for my use in bidding and building. It was a wonderful, fluid delivery and Julie was immensely helpful and professional. I would highly recommend.
