“As first-time remodelers, we weren't sure whether we should consult with an architect or that we could even afford one. We discovered Tony through a mutual friend.
Before we met with Tony, we had pared our wants down to the following three items:
* Work-from-home office space
* Updated & expanded kitchen
* Media room to provide our growing kids their own indoor space
Our expectations had been boxed in by our 1969 tract home. Tony not only exceeded those expectations, he blew us away with an innovative design that at once met our needs, freed our curbside frontage and interior experience from the tyranny of the cheap tract box, and met all the practical requirements of budget and city regulations.
Tony held our hand and supported us through the permitting process. His adaptability and responsiveness saved us thousands of dollars in permit fees. Tony's contacts led us to the perfect builder/contractor. Schedules and budgets were never in question. The few inevitable gotchas and change orders were taken in stride and didn't blow up our budget.
In short, we enjoyed our remodeling experience largely because of Tony's influence. We've lived in our new space for 3 years now and we're still happy. Tony was the best thing to happen to us and our remodel.”

My husband and I had been thinking about remodeling our master bathroom for a few years, but we took our time to start it because we couldn’t find any designers we liked. However, after we had a consultation with Yuki, we had a good feeling that she would create our dream bathroom. She listened to our desires carefully and she created the design exactly how I wanted it to be. She communicated quite positively with our contractor and directed all the details of her design. Her advice was very professional and precise. Because of Yuki’s aesthetic design style, our dream bathroom turned out to be far better than we expected. We couldn’t go through the remodeling process without her. “Impluvium listened to my spiritual desires to create a contemporary space that made guests feel instantly welcome while providing function for everyday life. I described a desire that my home subliminally feel like a space where East meets West. Many visitors comment on how "happy", comfortable, and Zen like my home is. Mission accomplished thanks to Tim Haley!
The project involved an extensive remodel of my 3 bedroom/2 bath townhouse inclusive of footprint expansions (addition of ~75 sq. ft.), relocation of all plumbing and electrical, removal of demising wall, new windows, doors and skylights, and creative solutions designed to maximize space. In particular, Impluvium not only designed an aesthetically beautiful ceiling in the great room, but it also provides layers of light for multiple uses at all times of the day and night, functionally it is a chase which delivers the in-home sound system and HVAC system, and it masks the new structural beam required when the demising wall was removed.
The accuracy and completeness of Impluvium's design and architectural drawings were instrumental in expediting HOA approvals and permits.”
