“Kevin found a practical way to fit in all the spaces we wanted, so our house functions perfectly for our family. He provided 2 very different design options so we could asses the costs involved. Even though we opted for separate rooms rather than too many knock throughs, there is still a feeling of space throughout the whole house because of the way the spaces flow into each other. The bathrooms are an appropriate size adding a feeling of luxury, the utility provides the ideal place to fit a salon chair for me to work from home, and we have the perfect alcove to store our coats and shoes without cluttering up the hallway. Kevin also had some experience and understanding of the planning process in my area, making the design process stress free.”

“VC Design was recommended to me and I would do the same without hesitation. We contacted Veronica about drawing up plans for our ground floor extension and although conceptually we had a clear idea of what we wanted to she was invaluable in advising us how to best use the space and our options within the parameters of planning. She also contacted previous clients and arranged for us to see the work they had done, this allowed us to see first hand some of the ideas we had discussed. Veronica submitted the planning application and we have now received our approval - a job very well done.”

She focussed on how we could maximise an unused side garden to be a useable, extension to the central lounge. “Our experience with Go plans has been excellent. They arranged a home visit at very short notice, listened to our suggestions and compiled the initial drawings relatively quickly. They also successfully handled the whole planning permission process for us and provided a very fast and professional response to the requests and changes requested by the planning officer. “Whilst project co-ordinating a refurbishment, I recommended Tom's practice Wellstudio architecture to my interior design studio's clients, a young creative family who were interested in undertaking an extension on their four story East London townhouse during the full scale renovation of their property. As the clients are lovers of art, we were keen to create a unique art led structure that was a little different, even unorthodox. The result was an origami inspired copper clad extension and garden canopy that's visual simplicity belies its technical complexity. This is where Tom really displayed his excellence as an architect, as he has both the artistic vision and collaborative character to flesh out conceptual forms that are genuinely original, but crucially, he also has the communication skills and technical rigour to bring it all to fruition with professionalism and diligence. I have no hesitation in recommending Tom for clients looking for an architect who can create something highly personalised to their needs and aesthetic.”

“Innovative design ideas with precise attention to detail. FP provided a thorough service from design to project management (including liaising with builder throughout project; obtaining planning permission; managing payment schedules). Good source of knowledge and advice for furnishings and fittings. Some expensive tastes...! Very nice to deal with and would reccomend without any hesitation.”
