The brief was to open up the ground floor to let in more natural light, and to make more efficient use of the living space. This time was invaluable as it allowed Studio AWA to suggest ideas that we had not considered and which had a huge impact on the finished product. This included enlarging and adding additional windows, and inserting large sliding glass doors at the rear of the house.
