“We loved working with Killeen Studio Architects. We needed drawings to buid a laundry area in our 100-year-old St. Louis condo. The project included demolition of a closet that divided the condo’s large hall into two awkward spaces. Our new laundry is still under construction but we can already see it makes better use of the space. Mike Killeen and his team not only turned the drawings around fast, but also gave us advice, ideas and the names of trusted contractors. The whole experience was very professional, the drawings were exactly what we needed and the price was reasonable. We will certainly use Killeen Studio for our next project and I have no hesitation recommending them to others.”

“My wife and I were very pleased with the design that Curtiss provided for our 2150 sqft infill home in Webster Groves, MO. Curtiss listened to our needs (even following my wife's Pintrest account), visited the site and surrounding neighborhoods, researched local requirements, and then QUICKLY synthesized all the information into plan and elevations that we could take to the architectural review board (ARB). We were able to complete the ARB review in one meeting, and then Curtiss worked with our contractor to develop the final contract documents. Now we have a quality, energy efficient, home with lots of natural light: at a price we could afford. We have been living in our home for a few months, and we love it!
Curtiss is a super hard worker. He met our project's tight deadlines, without complaint or unexpected charges. The price we paid for his services was fair.
In every project there are things that one would do differently. But, one thing that we would do the same is pick Curtiss as our architect. Thanks, Curtiss!”

“We've had a series of major renovations on our home and Mark has done the design/drawings for each phase of construction. We gutted a basement that required lowering the floor to get better ceiling height. We added a master bath/laundry upstairs. And most recently, we redesigned our kitchen and added a family room and office off the back of the house for a more open floor plan and additional living space. Mark did an excellent job of keeping the design in line with the look of the rest of the house, but the floor plan is more open which is hard to find in older homes (ours is close to 90 years old). We have loved the new addition and Mark did such a great job of figuring out what we really wanted and making it all work. I would highly recommend Mark for your next renovation or new design project!”

I like that Kim thinks "outside the box" with her approach to design, so each space she creates is unique and not at all "cookie cutter!" Kim's attention to detail is amazing. She is very knowledgeable about architecture, so rehabbing a house is one of her specialties! She strives to maintain the integrity of the house's character so the rehab work looks as if it was part of the original design. “Robert Czerniewski and I are co-owners of McMillan Construction Group, Inc., a general contracting construction company working mainly in the St. Louis metropolitan area. We recently worked with Mitchell Wall and Associates on a large residential project as a team and our experience was probably as good as a contractor -architect relationship can be. MItchell Wall provided the working plans, specifications, construction administration services as well as necessary problem solving dialog throughout the 14 months of renovation / construction. Their availability and attention to the project was thoroughly consistent and their professionalism was evident at all levels of involvement throughout the project life. The clients have been completely happy with the results as have we.
In short, it could not have been a better experience and I would recommend them to anyone in need of comprehensive architectural services.

“You would be foolish not to use this firm for your custom home! We had a good idea what we wanted for our new home, but we couldn’t figure out the details. Ed Stevens Architects ran with the concept and created a gorgeous, custom, yet functional home. They suggested thoughtful details like a hidden pantry and maneuvered through city permitting (our municipality is known for being difficult) without transferring the headache to us. We were a little crunched on time, and they moved swiftly but did not miss a detail. Their promptness in communication was a huge plus. They were on site during the early phases of construction and caught issues before they became bigger problems. Thanks to our architects, there is nothing we wished we had done differently with the home.”
