“We found ourselves in trouble with local code enforcement at our home. An added unpermitted ADU, a 300sq ft. building encroaching city property and a large unpermitted carport, all done prior to purchasing the home. Eric took the bull by the horns and met with the city, working with them to get all resolved. The city wanted parking for additional vehicles, Eric showed why it wasn't needed. The city wanted other buildings moved and again Eric showed why they met current code. He drew up plans to solve the issues for 3 separate permits we had to get and the city approved all. He was available for any questions, came to the house when needed and spoke several times to the city. We were a mess with many issues and Eric got us to the point that all were signed off. Highly recommend for any project.”

“H2D did the architectural design and permit approval for a major remodel we did in Kirkland, Washington. They also helped with some color and material selections. When we hired H2D, we had purchased a house that needed a lot of work. H2D came up with several different concepts for remodeling, and we chose one that was quite different from anything we had envisioned. We are very happy with how it turned out. One of the things that H2D did that was very helpful was to produce 3D renderings that gave us a semi-realistic impression of what our new space would look like. We were pretty motivated to keep our total cost down, and H2D was quite adept at retaining and re-using things that could be re-used, while also achieving the goals we had for our new space. H2D managed all the work from initial concept to permit approval. That included coordination with an arborist (required in Kirkland), a geotechnical engineer, a civil engineer, and a structural engineer. H2D put together the package of materials for the building department and managed the approval process. The H2D people were a joy to work with. We would recommend them for home construction project ranging from minor remodels to complete new home construction.”
