“We had designed our first new home ourselves, but second time around it wasn’t so easy. We had a basic concept in mind, but couldn’t bring it all together and “make it fit”. We chose Mike for two reasons, firstly he’d been recommended by a friend to check him out and we loved the look of his previous designs, and secondly because he’d completed a builder’s apprenticeship. It was important to us that our architect also had practical building knowledge. Mike came back to us with a design that incorporated all the things that we had asked for, but also added some quirky features and design elements that we would never have come up with on our own. He visited us on site, and was always respectful of our preferences and worked hard to pull the whole design together. We would definitely recommend him to others who are looking for a professional, considerate, and innovative architect.”

“We are midway through building a new house with Parsonson Architects. We have had and continue to have such an amazing trip through designing and building with this fabulous and professional bunch of people. Their attention to detail is eye opening, their communication with us as clients is brilliant. They pay attention to budgets and cost control. We are so grateful to have them as our architects and would recommend them to anyone. They could easily be on Grand Designs but there is just not enough drama for TV!! Well actually, no drama at all.”

“We chose James and his team at Mackit because we loved his contemporary modern design style. The team made the process very easy and their detailing, care and attention as both a master builders and architectural designers was exceptional. They were fabulous at listening to our brief, designing and then building our project. The project was delivered to deadline without any unexpected costs to us, something that we’d never experienced with previous design or building projects. The Mackit builders were unfailingly polite, communicated really well and were a pleasure to deal with, especially important with our young family living on-site during the build. The result is brilliant and much better than we envisaged. We frequently refer James and the team at Mackit to our friends and family and wouldn’t hesitate to ask him to design and build any of our future projects.”
