“Annette is amazing at what she does. She not only ensures her work is as exact as it can possibly be... she also goes above and beyond by assisting when difficult issues with other contractors and or structural issues as well. I recommend her highly as she is prompt, fair with her pricing and always available should you have a question. She also is someone who likes to come see the job after it's finished so she can see how her plans worked out. Amazing and outstanding designer and person! Will call back again for future projects and have recommended her already to my neighbor! Excellent!”

“I asked ETIN Design to completely re-do our home office and Bozhena Etin exceeded my (already high) expectations! She carefully listened to our functional needs, incorporated our aesthetic tastes, and designed an incredibly beautiful and elegant workspace. It is a joy to be in the office all day. I was impressed with her meticulous attention to detail, her professionalism, and her rapid response to our questions. If it were possible to award 6 stars, I would.”

“We had a very complicated kitchen remodel -- our home was built 90 years ago . We wanted to preserve the style from that era while making design/flow more consistent with the efficiencies of present time. Traci D'Alessio did a phenomenal job in meeting this challenge. her thoughtful and meticulous approach, exceptional skills of listening, and genuine interest in our preferences resulted in an award winning kitchen. I would hire her again for any project. I will also mention that we had the added challenge of employing a design/build firm for our contracting/building needs which meant that at times there were conflicts and potential awkwardness with 2 architects involved. When it was necessary and she felt that the product might be compromised, Traci D'Alessio managed these potential conflicts well -- an underappreciated but VERY important skill. Last, Traci has an exceptional command of the most up-to-date technology in her profession. This enables her to make changes with lightning speed (in comparison to the surprisingly archaic methods of many local architects) -- this will save you not only time but money.”

“The Shank husband-wife team is a dynamic duo when it comes to design expertise and building excellence. After using their skills for a kitchen and master bath remodel in the past, they are teaming up again on our behalf for a downstairs master suite addition. In conjunction with dealing with super-confident subcontractors, their projects are completed in a timely manner. I most appreciate their attention to detail and notifying me if a set appointment with anyone on the project was delayed even 15 minutes later than scheduled. I am amazed at the quality of their work and their ability to give their customers what they want in fresh and innovative ways at a competitive price. “After purchasing lake front property in Charlotte NC, we entered into an exhaustive search to find the right architect to design our dream home. We knew what we wanted in a custom home and Tim Johnston of CL Helt Architect Inc. was able to create a design that incorporated our needs on balance with our budget. He worked with us through every phase of concept and design providing all of the renderings and models needed to fully conceptualize the scope of the project. Tim Johnston brought a strong modern esthetic that we had been seeking and an understanding of the complexities of building on waterfront property. Tim incorporated passive solar design tailored to meet the specific requirements of our exposure and latitude. Tim came up with creative solutions to accommodate the challenges of our lot and the limitations of our budget. He positioned the house to protect access to our boat ramp and take full advantage of the lake views, while designing a basement home that minimized costs and always kept in mind the practical requirements of custom home building. We have enjoyed our working relationship with Tim Johnston and the entire CL Helt Architect Inc. team. Our new home incorporates every detail that we had hoped to achieve. “Jenny Pippin of Pippin Home Designs can design anything. ...from huge homes to small ones. She listens to her clients, designs liveable homes and takes advantage of any and all views. She is highly capable, artistic and yet reasonable. She designed our home about 20 years ago and I wouldn't change a thing. It's on a sloping lot with only a small section that is flat for the house's footprint. It was a winner from plan to inception. I still love and live in every square foot.”

“I have a mountain home with a multi level metal roof and a large wraparound deck. I wanted to screen in a significant part of the deck to create a space with a tongue and groove wood ceiling covered by a metal roof that would blend into our existing structure. Two highly recommended screening companies turned us down stating there were too many roof angles to accomplish the job with any quality result. After some research I hired Kirk Bowden, architect and owner of Bowden Environments LLC. Kirk is a talented professional. He took his time, paid close attention to our needs and goals and was a pleasure to work with. Kirk created a design that would give us the functional space we desired while making sure it would blend in with the current structure to look as if it was built with the original home. Kirk also recommended the right contractor he knew would get the job done correctly. He recommended Adam Spencer of Lifesize dwellings. The architectural drawings were completed and Adam excepted the challenge. The end result far exceeded our expectations. I’m so glad I had the opportunity to work with Kirk Bowden and I highly recommend him for any of your architectural needs Karen Matluck MD”

“We began our search for a home design by browsing multiple websites and just could not find a plan that bests suited our needs. We were referred to SM Monette Designs by our builder, Greg Hall of Ace Builders, and couldn't have been more pleased with the design work and collaboration that we received. Our lot had a very restrictive building envelope which made our project quite a bit more complicated than most jobs in the area. Susan was very flexible when it came to our requests and she gave us welcomed advice with regard to modifications that would provide the best possible product based on our requirements. The quoted costs were accurate and stayed right on budget. Susan was always very responsive to our email and phone calls so I would give her a top rating with regard to her customer service. The coordination between her, our builder, and the engineers were seamless. We would highly recommend SM Monette Designs for any home building project and should we ever have another we would definitely send the work her way.”
