“We met with Ileana to discuss possible renovation ideas to our 1960s house to open up the space and to re-think our upstairs bathrooms. She designed the project in a way that allowed us to consider the two pieces (upstairs and downstairs) both separately and together. We originally thought we would focus on the upstairs initially, but we were so happy with the redesigned first floor that we ended up deciding to tackle this project first. We contracted with a local company to do the work, and they have had no problems following Ileana's architectural drawings.”

“I was living in a dated condo made up of a series of rooms complete with a totally enclosed kitchen. When the dishwasher failed, I finally decided to take on a renovation that would transform my condo into more of an open concept arrangement. I hired Runningdog Architects to explore what could be done with the space. The result was a wonderful modernization of my home. With smart but simple moves, the entire character of my home was transformed from a series of enclosed rooms to a sequence of open spaces and captured views. The new arrangement is simultaneously set up for formal entertaining and easy living. Runningdog Architects was there from the initial concept sketches all the way through construction, always making the process as easy as possible for me. I couldn't be happier with the work of Eric Carle and Runningdog Architects.”

“Working with Ben Robbins (and the entire team at Pillar & Perch) has truly been a wonderful experience. Throughout our project to design and build a new home for us, they have consistently been knowledgeable, professional, and are a pleasure to work with. After listening to what we wanted and looking at our lot, Ben’s first design was nearly spot on (we only tweaked a few very minor things). That was impressive! Then, throughout the build process, they have gone out of their way to please us and ensure that we’re happy. Ben is very responsive and keeps us informed as to what is going on, and has even found us some ways to save money without sacrificing from the architectural integrity of the project. “Wendy went above and beyond staging my listing in River Creek. I would never hire anyone else and I have dealt with other stagers before. She is overqualified as she is an architect by trade but that is another advantage of hiring her. Her furniture was of the highest quality and perfect for the home. “Designing a house with John and Marilyn was a pleasure. They really worked to understand our needs and our taste. We get lots of compliments on the overall look of the house as well as the beautiful details like the coffered ceiling in our kitchen, the custom backsplash, built-in living room cabinets, windows in the great room, window seat on the stairway...and on and on. It has been a joy to live in the house they designed because it's just what we wanted. New Leaf Collaborative didn't miss a thing. After moving in, we also worked with Marilyn to buy furniture, rugs and window treatments. She already knew our style and what would fit well in the house.”
