“Our experience with Go plans has been excellent. They arranged a home visit at very short notice, listened to our suggestions and compiled the initial drawings relatively quickly. They also successfully handled the whole planning permission process for us and provided a very fast and professional response to the requests and changes requested by the planning officer. “Whilst project co-ordinating a refurbishment, I recommended Tom's practice Wellstudio architecture to my interior design studio's clients, a young creative family who were interested in undertaking an extension on their four story East London townhouse during the full scale renovation of their property. As the clients are lovers of art, we were keen to create a unique art led structure that was a little different, even unorthodox. The result was an origami inspired copper clad extension and garden canopy that's visual simplicity belies its technical complexity. This is where Tom really displayed his excellence as an architect, as he has both the artistic vision and collaborative character to flesh out conceptual forms that are genuinely original, but crucially, he also has the communication skills and technical rigour to bring it all to fruition with professionalism and diligence. I have no hesitation in recommending Tom for clients looking for an architect who can create something highly personalised to their needs and aesthetic.”

“Designed a Garden Room extension to the back of a 1960s house in a 20th Century Conservation Area to create an 'integrated living' feel to the ground floor including taking the kitchen into this space. The Architects worked collaboratively with us, taking the design through the Planning process, producing detailed tender documents to enable us to select an appropriate builder. Remaining in the background but available to support us during the construction period.”

Alex came across as having just the flexibility of mind that I needed to help me with many of the broader structural and design decisions needed, as well as be able to assist with the sourcing of specific items. “Trevor Brown was a pleasure to work with. We started with a humble idea of replacing a structurally unsound kitchen with something a bit nicer, and he transformed the project into a fabulous piece of architecture. Trevor is knowledgeable, and has an ambitious attitude to even simple projects. By paying attention to both the structure and the details of the kitchen, Trevor created a space which is a beautiful space and also very functional. Trevor is a busy man, but he replied to emails, and answered the phone when we had queries. He worked well with the construction team and they were able to take a pragmatic approach to solving problems along the way. We exceeded the original budget, but that was at least in part because we chose more expensive options when Trevor offered us choices.”
