“The architects at TKP have great vision and practical ideas. I had spent months working with another architect to design an addition to our 55-year-old home but nothing clicked. Then Karen Keating looked all through our home, sat down and in a matter of minutes roughly sketched out a plan which included a dining nook, den, office, bath and storage room. I knew we'd found the firm with which we wanted to work. Everyone that we worked with at TKP was respectful of our ideas, and then made them even better. We love our three-year-old, 1000 square foot "new" space. It flows beautifully with the original house.”

We wanted an architect that fostered trust and mutual respect, shared a common vision with us and was a healthy communicator. Natalie and Pat provided us with the highest level of experience and service. Their impeccable sense of design and understanding for how to create a space that would perfectly meet our needs over time was faultless. My wife and I love the outdoors in Colorado and with a generous outdoor living space including lounge seating, kitchen, large custom designed fire pit and jacuzzi, it's a substantial addition to our home. The project went smoothly from start to finish and we can't be more complementary about the way that Natalie and Pat led the process. Both offered such a positive attitude in exploring our options and in trouble shooting the challenges that we wouldn’t hesitate for a second to recommend this firm!!”

“Sandy did a great job of listening to my husband and my needs, and she designed a great pop top for our Denver Square. There were many hiccups along the way (but what home remodel doesn't have one!) and Sandy went above and beyond in making sure our issues were addressed and fixed. There were many occasions where an issue would arise (foundation wasn't good, we needed more money for framing, etc) and she would provide a solution, and then explain the problem and the solution together. Sometimes the solution had to have more money, but there were occasions where she would figure out how to save us money as well!”

“I am a GC, the folks at JLA Design helped me identify load bearing walls and design a new header to open up a load bearing wall for a Kitchen Remodel that we recently completed. They were responsive and easy to work with. Nice to find a smaller company that are willing to take on smaller projects. I am using them again on different project in a few weeks. I would highly recommend Josh and his team for your Engineer needs.”

“Building your dream house can be a scary and intimidating experience. We interviewed several architects and were so glad we did. Carl Shipley designed a beautiful home for us. It fit both the property and our lifestyle like a glove. The process was painless and even though Carl was out of state for much of the construction, he kept a very close eye on the project. We had a small drywall cracking issue after the fact and Carl was quick to diagnose and remedy that issue as well. You really can't go wrong with Shipley Design. Carl would be my pick if I set out to do it again.”
