The Sumburgh Head Project was a great example of collaborative working: client; designers; contractors; etc. which delivered a project of the highest quality within time and under budget.

“Lorna has designed a beautiful and practical divider for the kids room in our Stockbridge home.
With features such as secret compartments with swivelling covers or open porthole so they can see each other, talk and pass items over.
The boys love their new separate “rooms” and the whole thing is designed so it can easily be dismantled and moved without damage to either walls or floor.

“We bought the flat above ours in the tenement we live in, and we asked Studio DuB to redesign the joint double-flat from scratch, and then to project manage this, bringing in builders and other contractors they knew and trusted. They were superb in leading this from the outset to the finish, and we are really delighted with the results. The costings were presented in a very clear way, and design choices were made easy and clear at every stage. The network they have amongst trustworthy Edinburgh contractors, surveyors and other specialists was the next element in making this work smoothly and successfully, on time, and cost-effectively. They were easy to work with, and were good at eliciting from us what we wanted in overall terms, and where specific choices were needed, or changes to the operations conducted by the builders were needed, under time pressure, we always knew we were well supported and they would ensure a successful and top quality outcome.
