Architelle was recommended by a local builder who gave us the names of a few architects that work in the Area. He told me Margeret Skilbeck was conversant with Kuringai council regulations and her turnaround time in submitting work was also good. We were very happy with the design and final result. One of the best things we did was engage Margeret to supervise the building project which included weekly site meetings. it took away a lot of the stress involved in building work. She gave us very good advise along the way and helped in choosing materials and fittings. She was professional, capable, efficient and very pleasant and we have no hesitation in recommending Her. She was able to work well with the builders & coordinate the other professionals. Her fees were reasonable and good value.”

We have undertaken 2 renovations and Vanessa was the architect on both occasions. In fact, we delayed our 2nd renovation to coincide with her return to Australia so she could be on-site for the job. Vanessa has a relaxed and friendly manner that belies her expertise and talent. Whilst her ideas and recommendations are outstanding, Vanessa's great strength is her ability to listen to and understand what we were hoping to achieve and then to make it happen. Twelve months on from completion and we continue to be blown away with how happy we are with Vanessa's design. We love the home that Vanessa has designed for us and truly couldn't be happier. He is highly organised, trendy, ensures he fully comprehends the client's brief and produces designs that have an edge...a real Wow factor. We had a sloping block of land with a long list of requirements (budget, time, eco friendly, low maintenance, compliance to Vastu i.e an ancient Indian construction science considered by many as the precursor to Feng Shui, and many more). We also had some covenants and restrictions on the land. Luke delivered on all fronts by striking a beautiful balance of all elements. He also had a great network of consultants required for the plethora of reports needed for the Council Development Application and a huge help to get these organised. The best decision we've made.
