“LD&A was brought to our attention by a neighbour who had recently completed a kitchen renovation with LD&A and had a very positive experience with them. Our 5-month long kitchen/main floor renovation experience was similar. From our very first meeting with Neil, to design and concept work with Lindsey, to the actual construction under the oversight of Darrel and our site-supervisor/carpenter Tyler, we felt we were dealing with people who genuinely cared about this project, were proud of the work they do, adhered to high standards, and made sure all our needs and concerns were addressed both during construction and after completion. The attention to our needs was prompt and always resulted in satisfactory solutions. The only bumps in the project related to the painters (sub-contracted by LD&A). Some of the paint crew lacked professionalism, attention to detail, and were not considerate that we were living in the construction space. While LD&A was very good at resolving issues, some of the issues should not have occurred in the first place. We were told the painting company was unusually stretched by the high demands in the construction industry and, thus, were working with some new (and obviously less trained) team members. Despite this hiccup, all painting requirements were eventually completed to LD&A's consistently high standards and our high expectations. We highly recommend LD&A, and would hire them again in a heartbeat for any future construction or design projects.”
