We had heard all of the horror stories and it seemed a foregone conclusion that every project goes over budget and takes longer than anticipated. In our case, we stayed on budget and met our deadline. Bert and his team were always accessible, patient, reliable, prompt and detail oriented. On top of that, Bert is a lovely, trustworthy and kind man. The quality of the work is simply amazing. We could not be happier with our beautiful two-story guest house (which includes two gorgeous bathrooms and the most beautiful built-in cabinets I have ever seen), new driveway, patio, and outdoor space. “So Cal Builders and Design did a massive remodeling job on my condominium earlier this year in March. The condo was bought by me last year for a really great value, relative to living in L.A. heh, but the problem was it was fairly "worn" from use from the previous tenants who I gathered weren't particularly good neighbors. Regardless, with the great value that So Cal Builders gave me when I called them over to go over the estimate, made it all worth while. I had a limited budget, but they worked with what I had. Regardless of the limitations, they did a fantastic job with the kitchen by adding new cabinets, re-flooring and re-painting the kitchen walls. The living room and the hallway got a brand new coat of paint, and they removed the ugly and stained carpet to replace with laminate flooring. My girlfriend and I wanted them to make sure they paid extra attention to the bathroom and bedroom. So that was where the majority of the work went. Not to mention that the bathroom was a god awful mess that needed a new plumbing job! We replaced the bath tub that was taking so much space with a standing shower, which gave us tons more room, new vanity and lighting. Over all the job was fantastically done!”

“Cody, its been a pleasure working with you, always communicative and quick to respond. One reason we went with CK Smart Home Builders is because we felt like Cody genuinely cared about us. He has been patient with us the last few months while we revise our kitchen remodeling designs, and has worked with us to fit the project to meet our budget. We trust him and his workers to do a quality job. In the beginning, my husband and I were looking for a company to help us finish our kitchen remodeling , other contractors gave 4-6 weeks to complete, CK Smart Home Builders worked with me to get this done in 2 weeks!! Cody from day 1 was always available. He was reachable at ALL times, answered all questions and was very honest! When the project started, the workers were on site all day till the job was completed. There was no undue delay. Everything went on smoothly well. Thanks again Cody !!”
