“My wife and I hired Parker Kane Custom Homes in late summer 2013 to do an outdoor living area along with some interior redesign. We found them through a recommendation from our architect. Everybody at Parker Kane was very professional, hard working, and friendly! Before we started the project I gave Parker Kane a hard deadline to be finished before my wife's surprise birthday party. They finished the project on time and it was beautifully done! We were so happy with Parker Kane we hired them to do a total remodel of our kitchen the following summer. “John was our design/build contractor for our remodel. We have a 1937 cottage and were looking to keep the integrity of the cottage feel in our remodel. The remodel included a kitchen and bathroom overhaul, new roof, new foundation, spray foam insulation in the attic, walls, and under the house; laundry, and family room addition. John patiently worked with us for two years before we settled on a plan forward. John has a good eye for detail and is very flexible. Photos from the remodel are posted on Houzz. I recommend John to anyone who has a challenging remodel, needs flexibility and an eye to detail, and desires sensitivity to the integrity of the history of their home.”

“We shopped around for many custom builders in San Antonio TX before deciding on using Stone Creek. This home was our 3rd that we have built, but our first custom home on a piece of land we had and we really knew nothing about the process. We were both scared and knew this would be our last home so we wanted everything to be perfect. What originally had us leaning towards Stone Creek was their laid back attitudes and them not trying to push more house on us than we could afford. We had a budget and when we came in over they made multiple suggestions on how to obtain the same effect but for less money. They were always willing to work with us when we went rogue and picked out items at places other than what they suggested we go to. If we had concerns or questions throughout the project they were always willing to answer them (and we had a lot), and any construction issues we noticed along the way were always addressed quickly. If I had one complaint it would be the lack of designer help we received along the way. Stone Creek provides 10 hours of design consultation of which we used about 2, got no where and then picked everything out on our own, without receiving any credit for the time we didn't use. A lot of that was more than likely due to us and our own thoughts on what we wanted, but a good designer should be able to take those and work with you to achieve your desired end result which didn't happen. Ultimately Stone Creek did give us our dream home, we had ups and downs along the way as will always happen throughout the building process, mostly because it is such an emotional thing to go through, but we couldn't be happier with our home, and recommend Stone Creek to others who are looking to build every chance we get!
