“My husband and I met Jay when we were wanting to finish out our basement. He was building phenomenal 1.2-1.8 million dollar homes in the neighborhood behind ours. He finished out our entire basement and he has helped us with numerous other projects in our home (for ex. finishing out our whiskey room.) Jay is an incredible builder... he is honest, trustworthy and very reasonable in his pricing. My husband and I only use him for anything we are considering for our house. Jay was a breath of fresh air after we initially met with some other contractors/ builders. We felt they were ridiculous in their pricing and untrustworthy. I can't say enough fantastic things about Jay. I have referred all of my friends, family and work colleagues to him and everyone has raved about him. I highly, highly recommend Jay with J Builds!”

“Daniel Lichty was prompt his men were always on time very courteous and friendly. He was willing to listen to what I wanted and design it and build it on the spot. For instance I wanted a cabinet built for my bathroom to go between the sinks even though I had a mirror across the entire wall in front of the sinks. He built the cabinet and framed the mirror it looks like it was always there. I love it. He met the deadline and stayed on budget. I'm going to hire him next to redo my kitchen. I can't wait.”

“Gus Pounds and his team completed a second floor addition to our 1930's Midtown bungalow. Throughout the entire process his team was helpful and professional. They helped us through many unforseen circumstances which stretched our time frame and budget and provided guidance and advice. Gus and his daughter, Alexis, worked very hard to make us happy. We felt that we were treated fairly through the entire process and would hire them again.”
