“Chris completely remodeled our master bathroom; It involved removing the vanity tops and sinks, modifying the counters to increase storage, removing the old small stand - alone shower and turning it into a closet, tearing out the whirlpool tub and replacing it with an extraordinary large walk-in shower with frameless glass door and wall. He also removed an octagonal shaped window and replaced that with a 4" x 4" glass block window that brings daylight into the shower. The floor was replaced with ceramic tile that matches the shower, a new vanity top was installed with new sinks and hardware and the whole place re painted. It's been over 2 years now and it still looks like new and we enjoy it every day. It was well worth the time it took to get the job done. We chose the best quality materials money allowed and it turned out to our satisfaction. M & W Simard”

“John Newton of Cornerstone Builders recently built us a home in Weatherford, TX. We could not be more pleased!! John is a man of high integrity. He is a family man, trustworthy, and very intent on making everything right! John is extremely reliable, which is important in the building process. He answers emails, texts and is regularly on site. Having a talented builder is a real plus. He leveled dirt on a tractor, dabbled in a couple plumbing projects, installed appliances and much more. He even cut a metal hanging candle holder that I wanted to hang in a niche; it was just a tad bit too large. He has been in the profession long enough to have selected some outstanding contractors. We feel that we had the "best of the best" plumbers, electricians, tile layers, carpenters, etc. I don't think we will be moving from this gorgeous home, but If we did need to downsize or move for any reason, John would be building us another home! “This company allows you to concentrated on what you do best, b/c you know they are the experts in what they do. Building can be a difficult process, and you hear nightmare stories, this company disproves any of that. The process with them was seamless with no surprises along the way. Communication is on point and the deliver a product in a manner that they state from the very beginning. I will continue to work them and refer with my name 100% on the line. In addition I recently had a small issue come up at the house and within 24 hours it had been fixed, and had not had issue since. I like a builder that stands by their work.”

“We contracted Oakmark Homes to build a house on our lot. The entire process with Oakmark was extremely pleasant and stress free. Mark was always attentive to our concerns and changes. He personally oversaw the entire build process. We did not have to deal with a build supervisor or program manager, we worked directly with the builder. Mark is extremely honest and did what he said he would do. We would highly recommend this builder and if we ever build another house we would use Oakmark again.”

“I had the opportunity to work with Mike on several philanthropic projects from 1991 to 1994. During that time he oversaw a yearly Haunted House. Part of that oversight was to have a free standing structure built to specs that would pass fire and safety inspections required by the city. This task may seem small by the standards of what he does today but it still speaks to his character and his ability. He was a able to motivate forty young men, free of charge, to build a two thousand square foot water-tight structure and design it so that it was the scariest haunted house in the D/FW area. The building had roof, floor, walls and electrical to code. In my twenty years of knowing Mike I have never witnessed an instance that he didn't keep his word. He will tell you honestly how he feels - even if the truth might hurt feelings. he doesn't know any other way. I'll let others review his paid-for work. I can't speak to the nuances of vaulted ceilings and wine cellars. What I can tell you is that if you are searching for a builder or a contractor based on his character then you would be well served to choose Mike Garabedian for your next job.”
