He was so easy to work with, he was there to help with all of our decision making, he was always on the job site ensuring things were running smoothly and in a timely fashion. There were no surprises in costs and we knew what we were getting from the beginning of the process. At a time where our friends were building with a custom home builder and having all sorts of problems, budget overages and a 2 year build, from digging the hole in the ground to move in for us was 9 months! He had a great relationship with all of his trades people and they also were very respectful and easy to deal with. We have been in our home for 4.5 years and we still walk into our house and feel the same way we did the first time we saw it complete - and we still say that if we do it one more time, we'll be calling Kelvin.”

“Jeff has been awesome to deal with! After a parade of "contractors" that made Mike Tyson look professional and level headed, we gave it one last chance and met with Jeff after seeing his ad on Facebook. When I found out he used to work as a Site Supervisor at a larger builder here in Calgary, I could instantly tell that he understood how hiring a contractor is just as much about customer service as it is the work. Jeff was helpful, and genuine. Most surprisingly, he gave me a quote and while I expected it to be 15% higher than the quote, he stuck to every dime! I didn't have to wait weeks for a quote, and I didn't have to wait weeks for the work. Surprisingly enough, through his contacts his HVAC guy ended up being the same guy that worked on my home when it was being built. They pulled of a miracle from a previous mess up and fixed the existing work that was already done!”

“Dave and his crew replaced some of our siding with raised hardy panel with a metal reveal. Looks fantastic and they did a great job. They also built a very large arbour over our concrete decks and a built in bench seating and table. Again the guys did a great job. Dave and his trades are very professional and I would highly recommend them. They will be back this spring to continue some work.”

“Marwood Architecture Design remodelled my kitchen, which was extremely dark and dated. My kitchen is now two - toned (dark wood and white) with glass cabinet doors where my dishes are kept. The kitchen is exactly what I wanted; it is now bright, cheery and updated. Marwood Design also assisted with recovering my stools and replacing my blinds. This company, along with it's contractors, were extremely courteous and professional. They also kept to the timeline as promised which was essential given our busy lifestyle. I have received numerous compliments on my kitchen. I would highly recommend this company and I would definitely use them again!”

“I couldn't recommend these guys strongly enough. I'm currently in the process of building an Orleans 2 model with Cardel Homes and have been interacting very closely with Cardel Designs on the homes finishes.
The Design process is broken up into 3 meetings throughout the home building process. The first focuses on your construction specifications, things like exterior finishes, furnace, AC, etc. Meeting number two is all about the kitchen and cabinetry throughout the home, you can tour one of 5 fully functioning model kitchens in their design center to see many of the options available for your kitchen. This is a great asset as it helps you visualize all the possibilities.
Meeting number three is all about the interior finishes, selecting trim colors, door profiles, counter tops, tile, carpet, hardwood etc. This meeting is exciting and they do a great job of bringing all the elements together to give you a good idea of what it all will look like together.
The strongest benefit of using Cardel Designs is their design center, everything is under one roof and makes the process so simple. You don't have to worry about running around to each individual supplier throughout the process.
Their design staff is very professional, friendly, and incredibly knowledgeable. Great team to work with that makes the process easy and comfortable. ”
