“We spoke with numerous builders and started our building project with one other builder before finally finding Freese Custom Homes, and are so glad that we found them and decided to have them build our home. Todd was amazing to work with from the very beginning planning process all the way through to following up after we moved into our home. Instead of working with an architect, we had Freese Custom Homes design our house based on some ideas we had and are incredibly happy with the floorplan and design we ended up with, not to mention the cost savings over using an architect. Todd was able to design a house that was laid out just like we wanted, and also made sense from a builder's perspective so there were no architectural surprises during the building process. Communication throughout the build was great, which was very important as hiccups related to covid supply issues arose. Todd was able to work around all of the issues that came up and found reasonable alternatives when the selections we chose were no longer available. The end product is above our expectations and we couldn't be happier about how it turned out. If I had another building project in the future, Todd would be my first choice without hesitation.”

“We hired this company in 1991 to custom build our 3200 square foot home. This is a family owned business and at that time was owned and operated by Mike Ritzman's mom and dad. They were terrific. They were on time, they were pleasant and they even returned some of our money.
In the ensuing years I have had them remodel a rental property I have, plus a $30,000 repair when a large tree fell onto the roof.
A couple of years ago I had them build a custom garage of about 1550 feet. This is the $50,000 - $100,000 listed in this review. Once again they did it on time and on budget. I wouldn't go anywhere else for work, whether new construction or a remodel.”

“Fox Custom Homes built me a beautiful custom home in Gig Harbor, WA. The process was not completely smooth, but that was to be expected. We had issues with the portion of the project we were in charge of (septic, excavation, neighbors) which caused some hiccups and delays. Additionally, we ran into weather delays because Western Washington experienced the wettest October on record while our house was being framed, unfortunately that meant the delivery of our trusses was delayed. As I said, none of these issues were unexpected and in hindsight they arent worth being uspet about at all.
For Fox's part we are left with an immaculate home that is worth $175k more than we have into the home. The "standard" finishes are beautiful and I feel that we got an incredible value. We only technically upgraded our electrical and elected to use the allowances as a way to install nicer finishes for our flooring, cabinets, and countertops.
I am very happy Fox Custom Homes allows homeowners to complete some of the work themselves as a way tosave money. As a result, we have a custom bathroom vanity that my husband was able to build out of a slab of redwood and a 4'×7' tiled shower thatI personally installed the tile for. In no way does our home feel cookie cutter. We would hire Fox Custom Homes again in a heartbeat.”
