“Buchanan Const. was a pleasure to work with on building our home. His knowledge of building and materials was excellent. He made specific suggestions during the building process, such as adding a window seat and using the flooring material as the seating area. Buchanan also recommended extra insulation above the garage to help the bonus room for heating. Rick provided detailed invoices that spelled out each work order and changes that were made during the construction process. Since we were out of town for some of the construction, he always sent me photos of what they were doing and stayed in constant contact. His suggestion of landscaping ( adding rock walls ) was appreciated. I would highly recommend Buchanan Construction, and if I build another home, Rick will be the first builder I will call.”

“Assembly's team is nothing short of amazing. Super on top of it, great communicators, and talented in both the design and build aspects. It was really nice having one team manage both the design and build of our house-- less back and forth, more cost efficiency, and we could not be more thrilled with the results. It really was a smooth process from start to finish. We appreciated all of the transparency around cost, and the realistic guidance they gave throughout our decision making. It also felt very personal... we got to know their team well in the process, and it felt like they really grew to understand us and what we were going for. I really can't fully convey how enthusiastically and confidently I recommend them to anyone wanting to design and build a home!”

“Aspen Builders built our home in Flat Rock, NC in 2011. We built an addition 1 year later and never considered using anyone but Matt Holloway and Aspen Builders. No detail was overlooked and everything was done to perfection. We have a home in Columbia, SC and plan to remodel it and Aspen Builders is coming to SC to do the work for us.”

“Evergreen Custom Construction did an exceptional job on our home. Doug Oles the owner personally supervised every aspect of the work to make certain it was completed in a flawless and timely manner. There was never a day that this project was ongoing that we did not witness him outside of our home checking the work in progress.He has an exceptional eye for detail and design. His team were all very professional and courteous. Anytime anyone asks about our contractor we always say to use Evergreen Custom Construction. We are so extremely happy with the finished product. It brings a sense of pride when we get compliments on our home now which we do often. We are fortunate that we chose Evergreen Custom Construction because the owner, Doug Oles, is extremely virtuous and has great integrity. We have renovated all of the homes we have lived in over the past 25 years and have been most pleased with Doug. He is a consummate professional and runs a great company. “After multiple home-building and remodeling experiences, our highest compliment is: the job was well done, well managed, and communication was excellent. This is a tough time for construction. Skilled workers are hard to find, prices are high, and wait lists are long. Old North State Building gave us reasonable pricing, great work in a timely fashion, and had genuine concern for our well being. We couldn’t have asked for more.”

“Thompson Properties was very accountable in the building of my home at Balsam Mountain Preserve. Even after a year when we had a bad freeze John Thompson jumped when we call for help. He drove up and assisted us understanding what you do when you have frozen pipes. He discovered why it had occurred and corrected by putting further insulation where it was required. The true problem had originated in the fact that the heated floor system did not have an anti-freeze product. This was not their installation but he was able to discover what should be done to correct this so that we would not have it happen again. Six years later and we have never had a repeat performance. I would highly advise using this group for building your home.”
