“Jay, Chris and their team at Semper Fi did an extensive remodel/renovation for us prior to a move, while my wife and I were located 800 miles away from Black Mountain. Semper Fi was professional, helpful and flexible in accomodating our special situation and working in partnership with our design firm. Their communication is second-to-none, and they treat it as a point of honor to be accurate and reliable in their estimates of cost and time-to-completion of a project. We always felt like we had a good grasp on how our project was progressing, and their ability to keep a complex job on schedule and on budget was amazing. Followup at the end of the job was also really impressive--they were extremely responsive and helpful in listening to our feedback and quickly correcting anything that wasn't exactly perfect. “We hired Duinkerken Homes to work on a landscaping & grading project to make the backyard a space we could use. They did the grading, built a retaining wall and stairs from one level to another. Brandon and his team were very professional and hard-workers. They communicated with us throughout the process. They made suggestions that made sense. We are very happy with the final result and can't wait to enjoy what went from a small hill to a large backyard space that we can actually use! They completed the project within the time frame we discussed, which was also important to us.”

“I have used Cove Creek Construction for two projects at my 30 year old mountain cottage. The largest involved shoring up the attached porch, requiring various metal devices at beam joists, jacking up the porch and installing a new post with base and cap under a beam joint. The second project involved cutting two trap doors for access to the septic system below the guest cabin behind the main structure.
