They're technicians communicated with me during the entire project, whether to tell me they were on the way or getting ready to leave for the day to the progress they made through-out the day I mean these guys really know their stuff. I am a homeowner and LOVE DIY projects, but I just do not have the time to get them done so hesitantly I didn't know if my projects would be too small for them to complete anyway - they had no problem helping me with my "Pinterest projects" and we ended up doing bigger projects (remodeling my outdated bathroom and some other updating in my kitchen) due to the success we had with just my maintenance and repairs I needed done. I didn't realize how financially reasonable these prices would be, Ive heard of my friends spending so much more than I did and they did a fantastic job. I will definitely be a returning customer!”

“I love working with Cava! She has a client/project calendar and schedule that is updated regularly which keeps the client and designer abreast of what is happening and when. For this and many reasons, i feel she is very organized and thorough. It is very uncommon for contractors to be organized today because of juggling multiple jobs whilst also dealing with subs that may or may not follow through.
I was so impressed that after various material installations, she looked for the errors and flaws on the clients behalf and personally met with client and subcontractor to see that repairs were made.
I would definitely recommend Cava Custom Build!”

As we live four hours from our beautiful vacation Villa, Steve sent updated pictures on a regular basis to show us the progress of construction. We were in regular, almost daily, communication with Steve via phone calls and email. He kept us apprised of every detail of the renovation. The estimate for the renovation was accurate and when I made changes along the way, Steve provided the updated price in a timely manner. He offered suggestions for modifications to my original design which were great improvements to the renovation. His knowledge and expertise are remarkable and he was able to guide me through the renovation process, always with kindness and patience! His knowledge of the local market and environment was useful as we attempted to complete this long-distance endeavor. Once financing was secured, Todd worked tirelessly with us to insure that our budget was maintained, that we received the highest quality product within that budget and that he was always able to "point us in the right direction" concerning the sub-contractors and suppliers of our project.

“Brian from Bill Grotheer Inc was our GC. We interviewed five GCs before choosing someone for our project. Sometimes people think a renovation is going to be like something from HGTV. It is not! While projects can be even more beautiful than TV or magazines, the truth is it takes experience, time, energy, creativity, contractor licenses, talent, integrity, a supportive team of employees, plumbers, electricians, painters, floor specialists, demo crew, and workman to make the job wonderful.
When we interviewed potential GCs, we found some would low ball the bid to try to get our acceptance. We were very careful, realistic and practical about what a renovation would cost. Brian was forthcoming about every piece of our project. He was open about his costs and itemized every detail for us. Brian gave perceptive suggestions and was available if we had a concern. Brian was there every day to check on the project and give his team instructions. He was a partner in our project.
A GC should be someone you will feel comfortable in your home. Brian maintained a sense of polite professionalism, integrity, positivity and a sense of humor. We are so thankful to have found him and his team Bill Grotheer Inc.”

“After shopping around for weeks for contractors, I am proud to have finally found these guys. They were very patient with me and very informative. they worked around our schedule. I had my home renovated, in December and hired HP Contracting Group in October. Within those 2 months I gave Allen and Jake ideas of what I wanted for my home, they came up with a game plan and multiple options for me to chose from and they nailed it! I had no trouble during the renovation they made sure I got every little thing I needed with no issues. They had full access to my home at all times even when I couldn't be there. I put a lot of trust into them while being in my home and they were very respectful and trustworthy the entire time. They showed up on time every time and were very professional they got the job done earlier than expected and it turned out perfect just in time for the holiday's for my family to visit. I highly recommend these guys for whatever project you have. They are coming back in March to put a new roof on for me, and will be the only contractors I will use in the future.”

“I have used many contractors during the time I've had my 1925 Arts & Crafts bungalow in Savannah Georgia. Robert Foy is by far the best contractor I have every known. He is honest, does exquisite work, a perfectionist and a fine designer. He started by painting my living room from there he built and replaced railing on my front porch, redesigned my tiny bathroom into a functional space with a lot of storage, he designed built-in storage, day bed and desk for the small sun porch. That is the epicenter of the house now. He designed and built a coffee station cabinet in the kitchen. All of this work is pictured on his web site. Recently, he painted the exterior house trim, took off a bit of the siding to see what the original siding looks like. It looks good so we might do the siding project next to restore the house to the original siding, getting the later aluminum siding off. Robert is extremely attentive to detail and keeps the integrity of the home in mind. For more recent projects I am on a long waiting list because the word is out, he is in demand. There is no finer cabinet maker in Savannah, as far as I'm concerned. See savannahrenovations.net for pictures of his work.”
