“Our experience with Bob McGinty and LVIC was nothing short of extraordinary. From the beginning of the process, in which Bob provided an honest, collaborative, and professional estimate for our project (finishing our basement), to the daily work of his great crew, to the phenomenal end result of a third level of living space for our home, we were absolutely thrilled at each step of the process. Not only were Bob and his team extremely kind and helpful to each member of our family (including our 2-yr-old that continuously asked a zillion questions!), but they were able to design a space that incorporated everything that we wanted - even though we didn't think it was at all possible. We've had some bad experiences in the past with contractors that didn't show up on time (if at all), messy work areas, unprofessional behavior/language in our home, etc. The LVIC crew was the exact opposite. I would receive a text message each day about the time that the first crew member was arriving (and they were ALWAYS on time), they were professional throughout the work day, and at the end of each day, the entire space was cleaned and vacuumed. Long story short... LVIC is a fantastic company to work with - courteous, collaborative, amazingly talented craftsmanship, and overall great customer service. 5 stars!”

“I hired S & D Renovations to renovate the entire first floor of my home including family room, library, home office and kitchen. Work included installation of tile floor and backsplash, granite countertops, drywall, removal of wood burning fireplace and replace with gas fireplace, interior doors, painting, lighting, hardwood floors, stair railing, and exterior front door. Everyone who worked on my project was clean cut, respectful and pleasant to be around. They kept the work area clean and work was completed in a timely manner. Project was completed within budget and I was kept informed of all steps along the way. Owner was knowledgeable, honest and on top of every detail. He was always available to answer questions and returned phone calls promptly. They made this large project go smoothly with little disruption to my family. “Anthony (AF Contractors) has completed a number of home projects for me, most recently putting 3 new roofs on my large home. His pricing is fair and reasonable, and he remains true to his estimates. The crew showed up on time and worked overtime (at night) to complete the roofing project when rain was forecasted. Anthony is onsite at the start, and also reviews the work to ensure it is done to his standards and that the work site is cleaned up. I can't say enough about Anthony and his work, and I've referred him to several friends who have also hired him. He's my "go to" contractor for all my home needs. Hire him and you won't be disappointed!”

“We had Brendan renovate a 3rd floor bathroom and we are truly thrilled with the results. We really enjoyed working with him, as well as the contractors he brought in for electrical, plumbing, tiling, etc. Part of the project involved installing a mini-split air system, which he worked into the project very well. Whenever we brought some crazy ideas to him, he worked with us to come up with practical solutions and turned a pretty out-dated and poorly designed space into something that we really love. “I have dealt with many contractors over the past few years and I have been extremely disappointed - they either didn't show up/were 2 hours late, were completely unprofessional (cursing in front of me) or they never finished the work the were paid to do. Needless to say that I was very anxious about having to find a new contractor to put in our new kitchen. I found Freedom General Contracting by a recommendation from a friend. Leary, I decided to give them a call. I was very impressed by Steve's professional manner over the phone. He worked with my busy schedule and met me on a Sunday to look at the work I wanted to do and give me a quote. Steve's quote was right in line with the other 2 quotes I received, so the only thing I had to work with was the recommendation from my friend. I usually don't write reviews, but I felt that I needed to do this because I was so impressed with FGC! Firstly, they showed up on time (that's a huge bonus point right there), they finished the job in the time frame given and the best part is my absolutely stunning kitchen (just in time for Christmas). I honestly didn't think it would ever come out as good as it did (I am extremely picky, so my husband says). There were no surprises, no "That's gonna cost you more" and no belligerent men working in my home. It is so nice to finally work with a company who is so honest, reliable and does such amazing work!
