“When Dusty from WSCR started to do the framing and deck work he noticed many items not do properly by the general contractor and brought them to my attention. He corrected them and helped me though the rest of the project. After the general contractor told me he had completed my house there were 47 items that needed to be corrected and I had WSCR complete them after trying to get the general contractor to complete them 3 times. Dusty does suburb work at a reasonably price and completes what he has been hired to do. I would recommend WSCR for any of my future work. Thanks Fred Zeher 47 Blue Crab Lane.=”

“I contracted with Martone Remodeling in the spring of 2021. The project is basically a complete kitchen remodel. One half of the double car garage has been closed in as a laundry/mud room. This allowed for the expansion of the kitchen into the existing laundry room. The washer, dryer and hot water heater has been relocated into the newly built laundry room to make this kitchen expansion possible. The kitchen remodel is all inclusive with new cabinets, countertops, floor, ceiling, and appliances. The work has included new doors and windows and a redesign on electrical and lighting. Domenico and his crew has done an outstanding job. The project is about 80% complete. They have demonstrated exceptional skill and efficiency in all remodeling skills. They are excellent at accepting and handling changes and keeping the work area clean and organized. Their impromptu design offerings and project costs are very competitive and fair. I am happy to talk with anyone considering this team for hire and arranging for an on-site visit. I also have many progress pictures to share on request. “Gwaltney Construction renovated a 35 year old home built by a craftsman. It was a unique A-frame with a loft, built for one person so it needed updating as well as a significant addition. We chose the perfect company to do our project. They are not just builders, but craftsman as well. They respected the previous work and built a seamless addition; matching old barn wood beams, finding and finishing wood so you can't tell a difference between the 40 year old floor and new one and so much more. Gwaltney Construction exceeded our expectations on many levels. They made improvements to the architectural plans, they problem solved and came up with perfect solutions when a problem arose, they were respectful and kept an immaculate construction site. We recommend them highly!”

“After my Air Conditioner backed up and flooded the wood floor in 4 rooms of my house, I contacted Greg Avant of Avant & Avant Construction, Inc., to give me a quote for the much dreaded repair/remodel process. I also contacted 2 other local contractors for quotes. All three quotes were very close in price however, after much conversation with Mr. Avant, we decided to contract the job with him. We had to remove 3 rooms of wood flooring and replaced with porcelain tile, removed the dining room wall and constructed an archway between the dining room and foyer. All work was performed while we continued to live in the house. Mr. Avant was ever mindful the we were continuing to live in the house and assured that during the entire process that all my furniture was covered and gently moved and I never had to empty my China cabinet or curio cabinet. His work was impeccable and completed on time as we agreed. I was extremely satisfied with the work performed and would not hesitate to call on Avant & Avant Construction Inc. in the future, whether it be a remodel or to build a house from the ground up.”
